5 Preparing the Appliance for Use
Convey the dishwasher to the installation site, remove packaging, and check for damage. Keep packaging materials away from children. All packaging materials are environment-friendly and suitable for recycling or disposal according to local regulations.
All operations in this section must be carried out and/or checked by qualified staff.
5.1 Positioning and Installation
Place the dishwasher in the chosen location and remove protective film. Level the appliance on its four feet. Ensure it is stable. If installed above ground, secure it properly. The installation premises must comply with relevant regulations. Check recommendations for adjacent appliances. Use only professional furnishings. Other types may be damaged.
5.2 Connection to the Water Supply
Verify intake water pressure, flow rate, and temperature match technical specifications. Install a pressure reducer if dynamic pressure exceeds limits. A pump may be needed if pressure is too low. Connect the intake hose to a 3/4" gas threaded fitting, inserting the provided filter "A". The tap must be easily accessible. Use only new hoses. Flush pipes if the system has been unused or worked on. For models with a water softener, fit an approved double check valve. For models without, fit an approved single check valve.
5.3 Drain Connection
The dishwasher has a drain pump. Check diameter and height of wall drain connections against technical specifications. Avoid kinks, sharp bends, or crushing of the drain hose. Use hose clamps to fix the hose end to the drain connection due to high water temperature. Drain connections must comply with national regulations. Do not add extensions to the drain hose.
5.4 Connection to the Electricity Supply
Connection must be made by authorized, skilled staff according to regulations. Check the appliance's technical data plate. Install an accessible circuit breaker and overcurrent protection device suitable for the appliance's rating. Perform a functional test before operation. If using a plug, it must match the socket, be suitable for the appliance's rating, and accessible. Ensure connection to an earth conductor. Do not use adapters or extensions. Connect to the equipotential bonding system. An additional recommendation is a class B all-current sensitive residual-current circuit breaker (30 mA tripping current). 6 First Start-Up
6.1 First Start-Up
The electrical protection system must be tested. The appliance must be installed and started up by qualified staff, who will provide operating instructions.
6.2 Preparing for Use (Important)
Rinse aid dispenser is standard; detergent dispenser is on some models. Place external detergent and rinse aid containers and insert their intake hoses (red for detergent, blue for rinse aid) into them. Fit weights and filters onto hose ends. If the detergent dispenser is not factory-fitted, it can be retrofitted. Whenever changing detergent or rinse aid, flush the peristaltic pumps by placing intake pipes in water for a few cycles. Use only products recommended for professional dishwashers; failure to do so voids the warranty on the water system. Peristaltic pump hoses should be replaced by After-Sales Service every 12 months or 15,000 wash cycles.
6.3 Using the Water Softener (on models with this feature only)
The automatic water softener removes water hardness using regenerating salt. Add one liter of water to the salt tank on first use. Ensure the salt tank cap is firmly closed. Prevent mixture of water and detergent from entering the salt tank, as this impairs the regeneration system and voids warranty.

(*) Cycle duration is guaranteed with recommended intake water temperature. For repeated cycles, operating conditions may vary. Cold water supply may increase duration depending on intake temperature and "thermostop" setting.
(**) For P7 (Beer glasses), the dishwasher must be connected to a cold water supply. The program does not provide rinse-aid dispensing during the final rinse. If selected after a hot rinse cycle, at least two cycles are needed for the rinse to become cold.
Power Blackouts: If the dishwasher is open during a blackout, the display shows "°t" and heating elements remain off to prevent burns. Close the dishwasher to resume heating.
11 Baskets Provided
Basket shape and material vary by model. Extra baskets can be purchased. It is recommended to use intact baskets and not tamper with plastic runners.
- Glasses: Place glasses downwards.
- Cutlery: Use the dedicated basket. Place cutlery randomly, preferably with handles downwards. Use caution with sharp edges.
12 Maintenance and Cleaning
Annual servicing by an authorized center is recommended. Use genuine parts. The manufacturer is not liable for damage from misuse, neglect, or incorrect connections. The dishwasher has IPX4 protection, but direct water jets are forbidden.
- Cleaning: Remove filters, clean them, and rinse with plenty of water. Do not use sharp tools. Clean away limescale deposits. Leave the door ajar when not in use. Clean surfaces with a damp cloth and neutral, non-abrasive detergents without chlorine compounds.
12.1 Cleaning the Filter During the Day
For heavy-duty use, clean the filter every 30-40 cycles using the "partial tank pump-out" routine (P0). Press and hold the Total Emptying button until "P0" appears, then confirm. After pump-out, clean the filter and press the Start button to refill.
12.2 Total Pump-out at the End of the Day

12.4 Topping Up with Regenerating Salt (for models with softener)
Use specific salt only. Add salt when the indicator light for the salt symbol ? illuminates. Refill the salt container (approx. 1 kg). Procedure: start tank pump-out, refill salt, fill tank (FILL), restart tank pump-out, remove salt residues from the tank bottom to prevent corrosion. This prevents washing water from entering the salt container.
12.5 Routine Inspection of the Spray Arm (Once a Week)
Remove upper and lower spray arms by unscrewing the central ring nut. Clean spray arms under clean running water. Do not unscrew nozzles. Reinstall spray arms. Do not use tools that could cause damage.
12.6 Lengthy Periods Out of Use
To prevent crystallization and pump damage, empty detergent and rinse aid dispensers. Remove intake hoses, place them in clean water, run a few wash cycles, and perform a total pump-out. Turn off the master switch, close the water intake valve, and leave the door ajar to dry. Reinsert hoses correctly when returning to service.
Troubleshooting
If the pump is not working properly: empty the dishwasher, disconnect power, remove screw A, release tab B, and check if the pump impeller rotates freely without obstructions.
