Installation Overview

This document outlines the proper installation procedures for Nelson R55i VT and R65i VT sprinklers to ensure optimal performance.

Key Components and Specifications

Pressure Range: 15-60 PSI (1-4 BAR)

Nozzle Sizes: #52 - #90

Nozzle Verification

Ensure the nozzle is securely installed by performing the following checks:

1. Check that the lip is in the front.
2. Check that the notch is in the back.

Adapter and Pipe Nipple Requirements

Poor entrance conditions can diminish performance.

Use Adapter:

• 2" MNPT x 1.25" FNPT (Part Number: 13203-001 - Black)
• 2" MBSP x 1.25" FBSP (Part Number: 13203-002 - Gray)

Alternatively, use a minimum 6" pipe nipple.
