Overview
Panel Components:
- Micro SD Card Slot: Located on the side for storage.

Get the EZVIZ App
To use the EZVIZ CP4, you need to connect your mobile phone to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network and install the EZVIZ app.
- Download and install the EZVIZ app by searching "EZVIZ" in the App Store or Google Play™.
- Launch the app and register an EZVIZ user account.
If you have already used the app, ensure it is the latest version by checking the app store.
Setup
Follow these steps to set up your peephole doorbell:
- Install your peephole and power it on.
- Log in to your EZVIZ app user account.
- Connect your peephole to the Internet via Wi-Fi.
- Add your peephole to your EZVIZ account within the app.
Installation
1. Install the Micro SD Card (Optional)
Insert a Micro SD card (sold separately) into the card slot on the device. In the EZVIZ app, navigate to Device Settings > Storage Status to check the SD card status. If it shows "Uninitialized," tap to initialize it; it will then change to "Normal" and be ready to store videos.
2. Install the Peephole
This document provides two mounting methods for different appearances. Choose the method corresponding to your purchased product.
Model A Installation:
If a peephole already exists, install the device in the same location. If not, drill a hole approximately 14mm in diameter (no more than 45mm) and about 145cm from the ground for optimal viewing.
- Measure the door's thickness and select the appropriate screws from the provided options (35-60mm, 60-85mm, 85-105mm).
- Turn the screws into the back of the camera.
- Tear off the release paper from the adhesive.
- Pass the screws and wire through the door. Rolling up the paper can assist this step.
- Adjust the camera's position and gently push it close to the door.
- Take out the mounting base, plug the connector into the slot on the bottom of the base, and attach the base cover.
- Pass the screws through the mounting holes on the base.
- Adjust the mounting base's position and tighten the screws.
- Route the wires through the groove and insert the buckle.
- Slide the panel into the mounting base.
- Installation is complete. Remove the protective sticker.
Model B Installation:

Power On
Follow these steps to power on the EZVIZ CP4:
- Hold the power button on the panel for 3 to 5 seconds to power it on.
- Tap the touch screen to choose your preferred language (options include English, 简体中文, Русский, Magyar, Ελληνικά).
- Follow the on-screen wizard to connect to your Wi-Fi network by selecting your router and entering the password.
Add to EZVIZ App
To link your device to the EZVIZ app:
- Log in to the EZVIZ app.
- On the Home screen, tap the "+" icon in the upper-right corner to access the QR code scanner.
- Scan the QR code displayed on the device or within the app's settings.
If you encounter issues scanning the QR code or need to reconfigure Wi-Fi, navigate to Settings > Firmware on the touch screen to find the QR code.
Charge the Panel
Connect the panel to a power outlet using a compatible power adapter (5V 2A, sold separately). The panel can also be charged via a portable charger and hung on the hook.
- Do not charge through the interface at the bottom of the panel.
- Avoid charging the device when the temperature is below 0 degrees Celsius or above 45 degrees Celsius.
Restore to Factory Settings
To reset the device to its original factory settings, navigate to Settings > Firmware > Default and confirm the action. A confirmation dialog will appear on the panel.
Live View
Launch the EZVIZ app and tap the "Live View" button to see a live feed, listen, take snapshots, record videos, and adjust video definition.

EZVIZ Connect
1. Use Amazon Alexa
Control your EZVIZ devices with Amazon Alexa.
Before you start:
- Ensure EZVIZ devices are connected to the EZVIZ app.
- In the EZVIZ app, disable "Image Encryption" in Device Settings.
- Have an Alexa-enabled device (e.g., Echo Spot, Echo Show) and the Amazon Alexa app installed with an account.
To Control EZVIZ devices with Amazon Alexa:
- Open the Alexa app and go to "Skills and Games".
- Search for "EZVIZ" and select the EZVIZ skill.
- Tap "ENABLE TO USE".
- Enter your EZVIZ username and password, then tap "Sign in".
- Tap "Authorize" to allow Alexa to access your EZVIZ account.
- You will see a confirmation message. Tap "DISCOVER DEVICES" to allow Alexa to find your EZVIZ devices.
- In the Alexa app menu, select "Devices" to see your EZVIZ devices.
Voice Command: Discover new devices via the "Smart Home" menu or Alexa Voice Control. You can then control devices using voice commands like "show [your camera name]". Note that changing the device name in the EZVIZ app requires re-discovering the device on Alexa.
Troubleshooting: If Alexa fails to discover your device, check internet connectivity and restart both devices. If the device status is "Offline" on Alexa, check network connection and restart.

2. Use Google Assistant
Activate your EZVIZ device and watch live feeds using Google Assistant voice commands.
Required devices and apps:
- A functional EZVIZ app.
- In the EZVIZ app, disable "Image Encryption" and enable "Audio" in Device Settings.
- A TV with Chromecast functionality.
- The Google Assistant app on your phone.
To get started:
- Set up the EZVIZ device and ensure it works with the app.
- Download the Google Home app and log into your Google account.
- On the Google Home "Myhome" screen, tap "+" and select "Set up device".
- Tap "Works with Google" and search for "EZVIZ" to find the skill.
- Enter your EZVIZ username and password, then tap "Sign in".
- Tap "Authorize" to allow Google to access your EZVIZ account.
- Tap "Return to app".
- Follow the steps to complete authorization. EZVIZ service will appear in your list of services.

2. Information for Private Households
