Assembly

NOTE: Two people are recommended for assembly. Assemble on a flat surface. A piece of cardboard is recommended to keep the product from being scratched during assembly.

STEP 1: INSTALL THE CASTERS

Assemble on a flat, level, hard and smooth surface capable of safely supporting a tool cart. Lay the bottom tray (G) on its back. Attach two swivel casters with brake (I) to one side of the bottom tray (G) with eight M8x16mm bolts (AA), and tighten to desired tightness with a 13mm combination spanner. Tighten the bolts completely. Repeat the above step to install the fixed casters (H). Carefully put the bottom tray (G) to its upright position. Step down the levers to lock the swivel casters (F).

NOTE: Be sure to lock both swivel casters with brake to prevent tool cart from rolling or swiveling.

STEP 2: INSTALL THE POSTS

Align the holes of posts (E&F) with bottom tray (G), and attach four posts (E&F) to the outside corners of the bottom tray (G) with twelve M6x12mm bolts (BB), then finger tighten to desired tightness.

NOTE: Ensure the posts (E&F) are in the right direction with the three holes at the bottom and two holes on the top. Do not tighten the bolts completely before step 7.

STEP 3: INSTALL THE MIDDLE TRAY

Two people are recommended for assembly. Place the middle tray (J) in the middle of the four posts (E&F), securing with eight M6x12mm bolts (BB) as the picture shows and finger tighten to desired tightness. Do not tighten the bolts completely.

NOTE: Tighten a M6x12mm bolt in each of the diagonal hole to balance the middle tray (J), which helps release the hand pressure as quickly as possible.

STEP 4: INSTALL THE PEGBOARDS, DRAWER SIDE PANELS AND HANDLE

STEP 4.1: INSTALL THE PEGBOARD AND RIGHT DRAWER SIDE PANEL

Place the right drawer slide panel (C) between the posts (E&F). The right drawer slide panel (C) can be attached to as the same side where the fixed casters (H) will be installed. Make sure the keyhole slots on the right drawer slide panel (C) face forward and the narrow end of keyhole slots face down. Make sure the drawer slide on the right drawer slide panel (C) is pulled out facing forward and the organizer shelf facing up. Secure the top of right drawer slide panel (C) and legs (E&F) using two bolts (BB). Place the pegboard (D) outside the posts (E&F). Make sure the pegboard (D) hooks on the right drawer slide panel (C). Line up the holes in the right drawer slide panel (C), post (E&F) and pegboard (D), and finger tighten using four M6x12mm bolts (BB). Do not tighten the bolt completely.

STEP 4.2: INSTALL THE PEGBOARD, SIDE HANDLE AND LEFT DRAWER SIDE PANEL

Repeat the above steps to install the left drawer slide panel (N), pegboard (D) and side handle (P) using six M6x12mm bolts (BB). The left drawer slide panel (N) can be attached to as the same side where the swivel casters (I) will be installed. Make sure the drawer lock on the left drawer slide panel (N) faces forward. Make sure the drawer slide on the left drawer slide panel (N) is pulled out facing forward and the organizer shelf facing up. Do not tighten the bolt completely. Insert the key (O) into the drawer lock [pre-installed on the Left drawer slide panel (N)] to verify proper operation.

STEP 5: INSTALL THE REAR PANEL

Insert the rear panel (B) between the posts (E&F) and the drawer slide panel (C&N) at the rear of the tool cart, and tighten using four M6x12mm bolts (BB).

STEP 6: INSTALL THE BEAMS

Insert two beams (Q) between the posts (E&F) and the drawer slide panel (C&N) at the front of the tool cart. Lining up the holes in the drawer slide panel (C&N), posts (E&F) with beams (Q) and install the beams (Q) using four bolts (BB). Do not tighten the bolt completely.

STEP 7: INSTALL THE TOP TRAY

Place the top tray (A) on the top of the four posts (E&F) and secure with four M6x12mm bolts (CC) by a PH2 Phillips screwdriver.

NOTE: Tighten the bolts completely by a PH2 Phillips screwdriver.

STEP 8: INSTALL THE DRAWERS

STEP 8.1: ASSEMBLE THE DRAWERS

Identify the direction of drawer front panel outer cover (K) by pressing the red panel. Insert the drawer body (M) into the outer cover (K) of drawer front panel completely, then hold the top of inner cover (L) against the top of inside the outer cover (K) and buckle the bottom into the outer cover (K). Align the holes in the drawer body (M) with drawer front panel (K&L), and securing with four #4x8mm screws (CC) and tighten to desired tightness by a PH2 Phillips screwdriver. Repeat the above steps to assemble the other drawer.

STEP 8.2: ASSEMBLE THE INNER DRAWER SLIDES

Pull the drawer slides [pre-installed on the drawer slide panel (C&N)] out until fully extended. Lift the release lever up and remove the inner left drawer slide, then insert and lift the inner left drawer slide into the holes. Press the release lever down and remove and install the inner right drawer slide on the right side of the drawer as the above steps.

STEP 8.3: INSTALL THE DRAWERS

Pull the outer drawer slides out until fully extended. Hold the outer drawer slide on the tool cart while aligning them with inner drawer slides on the drawer. Slightly insert one side and repeat for the other side. Slowly push the drawer until it is fully closed to engage the slide. Open the drawer and close it to verify proper operation. Repeat the above process to install the second drawer.

STEP 9: INSTALL THE DRAWER MAT AND TRAY MAT

Place two drawer mats (V) and three tray mats (W) on the tool cart as you need.

Using the Caster Brake

  • To lock the swivel caster with brake, step down the lever.
  • To unlock the swivel caster with brake, lift up the lever.

NOTE: Be sure to lock both swivel casters with brake to prevent tool cart from rolling or swiveling.

Removing the Drawer

  • Fully extend and empty the drawer.
  • Push up one release lever while pulling down on the other release lever.
  • Pull the drawer outward until it is released from the drawer slide.

Maintenance

  1. MAINTAINING THE CASTERS
    Grease the casters annually using high quality bearing grease.
  2. MAINTAINING THE DRAWERS
    Periodically clean the drawer trim, and inside the drawers with a mild detergent and water. Remove grease and oil with a standard, nonflammable cleaning fluid. The use of drawer liners is recommended to protect the finish inside the drawers and make the drawers easier to clean. Lubricate the slides semi-annually with grease or equivalent.
