This manual provides essential information for the safe and effective operation of your WORKPRO 7.2V Cordless Grass Shear & Shrubbery Trimmer.

Safety Instructions
⚠️ Danger! Read all operating instructions to reduce the risk of injury.

- Keep all other persons away from the danger zone.
- Protect the tool from damp and never expose it to rain.
- Important! The cutter blades continue to run for a few seconds after the motor is switched off. Wait for the blades to come to a standstill. Risk of injury!

General Power Tool Safety Warnings
- Work Area Safety: Keep area clean and well lit. Do not operate in explosive atmospheres. Keep children and bystanders away.

- Power Tool Use and Care: Use the correct tool for the application. Do not force the tool. Ensure the switch functions correctly. Disconnect power before adjustments. Store idle tools out of reach of children. Maintain tools and accessories; keep cutting tools sharp. Use accessories as instructed. Keep handles dry and clean.
Battery Tool Use and Care
- Ensure the switch is off before inserting the battery pack.
- Recharge only with the specified charger.
- Use only specifically designated battery packs.
- Keep battery away from metal objects when not in use to prevent shorting.
- Avoid contact with ejected battery liquid.
Additional Safety Instructions for Battery Charging
- Charge only with 5V DC power supply.
- Do not charge a leaking battery.
- Do not use chargers for other purposes.
- Keep the charging device protected from moisture and do not use it outdoors.
- Do not short out battery contacts.
- Keep the unit out of reach of children.
- Ensure correct connection between charger and battery.
- Charge in a well-ventilated area away from flammable materials.
- Recommended charging temperature: 18°C - 24°C. Avoid temperatures below 4°C or above 40°C. Never fully discharge the battery pack.

Cordless Hedge Trimmer Safety Warnings
- Keep body parts away from the blade; blades continue to move after switch-off.
- Carry the trimmer by the handle with the blade stopped.
- Always fit the blade cover when transporting or storing.
- Clear jammed material or service only when the power switch is off and the battery pack is removed/disconnected.

2. Layout and Items Supplied
2.1 Layout (Fig. 1)

2.2 Unpacking
Check carton contents: Cordless Grass Shear & Shrubbery Trimmer, Shrubbery blade, Grass shear blade, USB type-C cable, Operation manual. Inspect for damage. Retain packaging for potential returns. Keep small parts away from children.
3. Proper Use
The equipment is designed for cutting edges of lawns, small areas of grass, small hedges, and shrubs in private and hobby gardens. It is not suitable for public facilities, parks, or commercial use. Do not use to chop material for composting. Misuse may result in liability for damage or injury.

5. Before Starting the Equipment
5.1 Charging the Battery (Fig. 2)
Connect to a DC 5V, 500mA to 2000mA power supply (e.g., mobile phone charger, computer USB port, power bank). The LED indicator will illuminate red while charging and green when fully charged. Charging takes approximately 3 hours, potentially up to 5 hours depending on battery level, ambient temperature, and power supply output. Do not charge or operate the battery in extreme temperatures (below 4°C or above 40°C). Recommended charging temperature is 18°C - 24°C. Never fully discharge the battery pack.
Important! Do not work with the battery while it is being charged.
6. Operation
Clear the area to be cut of stones and other solid objects. The safety lock-off button prevents unintentional starting.
⚠️ Warning! Blades continue to move for a few seconds after switching off. Wait for blades to stop completely before adjusting or cleaning.
Caution! Never touch the blade rail while the tool is in operation or when it is not in use.
i NOTE: Do not touch the rotating blades.
Switching On (Fig. 3 & Fig. 4)
Insert the safety key (4). Press the safety lock-off button (2) and the ON/OFF switch (3) simultaneously.
Switching Off
Release the ON/OFF switch (3).
If not used for a period, pull out the safety lock key (4).
6.1 Cutting Grass (Fig. 10)
Glide the grass cutter above the ground. Best results are achieved on dry lawn. Recharge immediately if cutting performance drops.
6.2 Trimming Hedges (Fig. 9)
The tool can trim small hedges and shrubs. Hold the tool slightly tilted. Cut sides from bottom up, then the top. Watch for foreign objects. Best times to trim: deciduous hedges in June/October, evergreen hedges in April/August.
6.3 Rotating Rear Handle (Fig. 5, 6, 7, 8)
The handle can rotate to three angles (-90°, 0°, 90°) for comfortable gripping. Pull back the handle rotation button (11) and rotate the handle to the desired position.
6.4 Changing the Blade (Fig. 9-13)
⚠️ Warning! Risk of injury! Remove the safety key before changing blades.
The tool comes with interchangeable grass shear (1) and shrubbery (6) blades. To change:
- Hold the trimmer at the top.
- Press the blade release button (5).
- Pull down the blade rear box.
- Remove the old blade.
- Insert the desired blade until it locks into position.
7. Cleaning, Maintenance
7.1 Cleaning
Keep safety devices, air vents, and motor housing free of dirt and dust. Wipe with a clean cloth or blow with compressed air. Clean regularly with a moist cloth and mild soap. Do not use solvents. Ensure no water enters the device. A few drops of oil (e.g., sewing machine oil) can improve blade performance; never use grease. Remove grass remnants and dirt from between blades.
Caution! Never clean the tool under running water or with high-pressure wash.
Store in a dry, frost-proof place, out of reach of children.
7.2 Maintenance
Keep blades sharp. Level off any jags or ridges. Clean thoroughly before and after use. There are no user-serviceable parts inside the equipment.
8. Disposal and Recycling
Packaging is recyclable. Dispose of materials according to local regulations. Do not dispose of batteries in fire or domestic refuse. Contact local authorities for disposal areas. Do not dispose of by burning due to explosion risk.
