DJI Mic Quick Start Guide

Getting Started

Follow these steps to set up and use your DJI Mic.

1. Step 1: Download and Install

   Scan the QR code or visit https://www.dji.com/mic to download the necessary software and view tutorial videos. You can also find more information in the user manual.

2. Step 2: TX (Transmitter) Setup

   Power On/Off: Press and hold the power button for 2 seconds. [Power Symbol]

   Record: Press the record button for 2 seconds to start or stop recording. [Record Symbol]

   Connection: The TX unit is designed for wireless audio transmission.

3. Step 3: Attaching the Transmitter

   Option A: Clip-on

   Attach the transmitter directly to your clothing using the built-in clip.

   Option B: Magnetic Attachment

   Use the magnetic accessory to attach the transmitter to your clothing.

   Option C: Charging

   Place the transmitter in the charging case to charge.

   Option D: Windscreen Attachment

   Attach the windscreen to the transmitter for reduced wind noise.

4. Step 4: RX (Receiver) Setup

   Connection: Connect the RX unit to your camera or other recording device using the 3.5mm TRS output. [3.5mm TRS Output Symbol]

   Power On/Off: Press and hold the power button for 2 seconds. [Power Symbol]

   Charging: Connect the USB-C cable for charging. [USB-C Symbol]

   Interface: The receiver displays connection status, battery level, and audio levels. Adjust settings as needed.

5. Step 5: Connecting to Mobile Devices

   Connect the DJI Mic to your smartphone using the included Lightning or USB-C adapters. [Lightning Adapter Symbol] [USB-C Adapter Symbol]

6. Step 6: Connecting to Cameras

   Mount the receiver onto your camera's hot shoe. Connect the receiver to the camera's microphone input using the 3.5mm TRS cable. [Hot Shoe Mount Symbol] [3.5mm TRS Cable Symbol]

7. Step 7: Charging the System

   Place the transmitters and receiver into the charging case to charge all components simultaneously. Connect the charging case to a power source using the USB-C cable. [Charging Case Symbol] [USB-C Cable Symbol]
