Swipe Down – Control Menu
In the control menu, you can pair devices, connect the receiver to the DJI Mimo app, and set the timecode. To configure other parameters, tap Receiver Settings or Transmitter Settings. Descriptions of some functions that may require further explanation are provided below.
Timecode
Timecode is a time stamp used to synchronize audio and video.
Supported Timecode Modes:
- Master Run: The receiver's main timecode is set to Master Run by default, controlling timecode generation and synchronization within the group and with external devices.
- Auto Jam: The receiver's secondary timecode is set to Auto Jam by default, meaning it is regularly synchronized via timecode and frame rate from the main receiver and adapted for external devices.
Common video frame rates are supported, with the default set to 29.97 fps. Ensure all recording devices maintain the same frame rate during recording.
Timecode Output Types:
- N/A: The receiver starts timecode internally but does not transmit it externally.
- L-IN: Used to synchronize timecode from an external timecode generator with the receiver. When the receiver receives timecode from an external device, EXT will be displayed in the top right corner of the screen. Tap SYNC to synchronize timecode with other devices. Tap RESET to reset the timecode.
- L-OUT: The receiver transmits timecode externally in Linear Timecode (LTC) format.
- A-OUT: The receiver transmits timecode externally in Audio Timecode (Audio-TC/ATC) format.

Receiver Settings (RX)
- Mono: Tap to switch between Stereo or Quadraphonic modes.
The Quadraphonic mode allows simultaneous operation of four transmitters, each assigned to a separate audio track for simplified post-production.
- Quadraphonic mode is compatible only with specific computer software and the DJI Mic Series Camera Adapter. Details can be found in the compatibility list on the official website.
- The DJI Mic Series Camera Adapter is compatible only with Sony cameras equipped with an MI hot shoe.
- Audio Monitoring: Tap to select the monitoring source and adjust volume.
- Gain (Zesílení): Tap to open the gain slider and adjust the receiver's output gain by moving it. If the level indicator turns red, reduce the gain to prevent distortion or clipping.
- Lossless Audio: When lossless audio transmission mode is enabled, the transmitter sends uncompressed audio at 48 kHz and 24 bits to the receiver, ensuring higher audio quality.
- Auto On/Off with Camera: If this function is enabled, the receiver automatically turns on and off with the camera when connected via a 3.5mm audio cable or camera adapter.
- Auto Off: If the receiver is not paired with a transmitter within 15 minutes of being powered on, it will automatically turn off.
- Environment: Both modes support automatic frequency switching between 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands. The difference lies primarily in the operating frequency covered by each mode in different environments. The Indoors mode covers a wider frequency range and offers stronger interference protection. However, due to laws and regulations in some countries or regions, certain 5 GHz frequency bands may only be usable indoors. Select the appropriate mode based on local laws and regulations, as well as the actual indoor or outdoor environment.
2.2 Rotary Dial Quick Operations
After powering on the receiver, press and hold the rotary dial for two seconds to lock or unlock the screen.
On Home Screen
- Double press the rotary dial to enter the control menu.
- Press the rotary dial to activate area selection.
- If no operation is performed within five seconds, the dashed frame will disappear.
- Press the receiver's power button or touch the screen to exit the dashed frame selection.
In this interactive mode, rotate the dial to switch between areas, then press the rotary dial to confirm.
After selecting a status bar item for the receiver or transmitter, rotate the dial to adjust the gain. When a dashed frame appears on the receiver's status bar, double press the dial to enter the multi-transmitter control interface.
When the dashed frame remains on the transmitter's status bar, double press the dial to enter the single-transmitter control interface.
2.3 Windscreen Installation
In outdoor environments or windy conditions, use the windscreen to reduce wind noise and improve audio quality.

2.5 Pairing Transmitter and Receiver
By default, transmitters and receivers purchased in a kit are paired. If they become unpaired, follow the instructions below.
Basic Pairing Operation
Pairing via Charging Case
Place the transmitters and receiver into the charging case to pair them automatically. If the transmitter's status LED indicator is blue, double press the pairing button to turn it green, then place the transmitter into the charging case.
Manual Pairing
- Press and hold the pairing button on the transmitter for two seconds until the system's status LED indicator starts blinking alternating blue and green.
- Swipe down on the receiver's screen, then tap Device Linking > +TX > TX1/TX2/TX3/TX4. The transmitter is paired with the receiver when the system's status LED indicator turns green. Users can view the transmitter's status on the receiver interface.
Group Pairing
After completing basic pairing (1 transmitter with 1 receiver, or 2 transmitters with 1 receiver), additional transmitters or receivers can be added, supporting up to four transmitters and eight receivers.
Adding More Transmitters to a Group:
- Method 1: Pairing via Charging Case Remove the connected transmitters and keep the receiver in the charging case. Then, place additional transmitters into the case; they will pair automatically.
- Method 2: Manual Pairing Refer to "Manual Pairing" and follow the same procedure to add more transmitters to the group.
Adding More Receivers to a Group:
- Swipe down on the receiver's screen, tap Device Linking > +RX. The receiver will become the main receiver and be ready for pairing.
- On the screen of the new receiver you wish to add to the group, tap Device Linking > +Group, verify the code, and tap Confirm to complete the process.
Device Management
In the control menu, tap Device Management to view serial numbers, battery status, or remove devices for all transmitters and receivers in the current group.
