DJI OM 5 Quick Start Guide

Step 1: Download and Install DJI Mimo App

Download the DJI Mimo app from the App Store or Google Play. You can also scan the QR code to download.

Step 2: Unfold the Gimbal

Unfold the DJI OM 5 gimbal into its ready-to-use position.

Step 3: Mount Your Smartphone

Mount your smartphone magnetically onto the DJI OM 5. Ensure the phone is centered and securely attached.

Step 4: Power On

Press and hold the power button (marked with a power symbol) for 2 seconds to turn the DJI OM 5 on or off.

Step 5: Extend and Charge

Extend the telescopic rod to your desired length. Connect the gimbal to a power source using the provided USB cable for charging.

Basic Controls and Functions

Photo/Video Mode: Switch between photo and video recording.
Gimbal Control: Use the joystick to pan and tilt the gimbal.
Zoom/Focus: Use the rocker to adjust zoom or focus.
M Button:
- Press once: Switch between Photo/Video.
- Press twice: Rotate phone 180°.
- Press three times: Switch front/rear camera.
- Press and hold: Power on/off.
Other Functions: Refer to the DJI Mimo app for advanced features like tracking, gesture control, and more.
