Assembly Instructions

IMPORTANT: PLEASE READ THE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY AND KEEP FOR FUTURE REFERENCE.

Assembly Guidelines:

• Follow the provided assembly instructions and use the supplied tools.
• Boori products should only be assembled by an adult, away from children.
• Heavy components should be lifted by two people to prevent injury.
• Each assembled section should be checked after assembly before moving onto the next stage.

Step 1: Base Assembly

Attach the five-star base with casters (labeled ①) to the gas lift mechanism. Use hardware 'A' (screws) for this step.

Step 2: Gas Lift Installation

Insert the gas lift (labeled ②) into the center of the assembled base (labeled ①).

Step 3: Seat Attachment

Attach the chair seat (labeled ③) to the top of the gas lift mechanism (labeled ②).

Furniture Care Instructions

Assembly

• Follow assembly instructions and use supplied tools.

Product Positioning

• This product is made of timber and is flammable. Do not place near open flames, fireplaces, or extreme heat sources (e.g., electric/gas heaters).
• Do not direct sprayers or humidifiers at the furniture, as this can cause damage.
• Avoid exposing furniture to extreme temperature changes, as timber expands and contracts, which can cause damage.
• Avoid direct exposure to sunlight, which can fade natural timber and plant oil colours.
• Black rubber feet on items like radios, computers, and picture frames can cause marks. Always use a felt mat (not plastic) to protect your Boori furniture.
• Do not place in damp environments or areas with high moisture levels, as this encourages mould growth.

Cleaning

• Clean by wiping with a soft, damp cloth.
• If necessary, use a mild soapy solution and wipe clean with a soft cloth.
• Do not use strong household cleaners.
• Always wipe in the direction of the wood grain, not in circles.
• Wipe up spills immediately with a soft cloth.
• Protect the furniture against bedwetting, as this can lead to discolouration.

Maintenance

• Regularly check the safety of your furniture.
• Ensure all bolts and screws are tightened and check for loose connections, missing parts, or sharp/pointed edges.
• Avoid contact with sharp objects and hot liquids.
• When moving furniture, always lift and place it into position; do not drag. Two people are recommended for lifting or repositioning.

Warranty Against Defects

Australia

Boori Australia Pty Ltd offers a one (1) year manufacturer's warranty for this product. This warranty excludes general wear & tear, damage caused by misuse, improper handling, or failure to follow instructions.

The warranty is void if the product is altered, repaired by unapproved service providers, not maintained according to instructions, abused, modified, or tampered with.

Warranty Claims: Must be lodged at the place of original purchase with proof of purchase. All expenses for sending products to Boori are the customer's responsibility.

Boori's liability is limited to replacing or repairing the product, or paying the cost of replacement or repair, as per legal provisions.

Limitations on Warranty Disclaimers: Guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law apply. Customers are entitled to replacement/refund for major failures and compensation for other foreseeable losses. Goods must be of acceptable quality.

United Kingdom

Boori offers a one (1) year manufacturer's warranty for this product. This warranty excludes general wear & tear, damage caused by misuse, improper handling, or failure to follow instructions.

The warranty is void if the original product has been altered in design or colour.

Warranty (China)

One (1) year warranty provided by Boori.

"Three Guarantees" (Repair, Exchange, Refund) Scope:

• Repair: Free repair or parts replacement for quality issues. Chargeable repair for issues caused by customer transport, installation, or misuse.
• Exchange: If the same defect persists after two repairs within one year, the product will be exchanged. The warranty period for the exchanged product starts from the exchange date.
• Refund: If the defect persists after two repairs or exchanges within the warranty period, and the product is deemed non-conforming, a refund may be issued.

Exclusions from "Three Guarantees": Normal wear and tear, damage from improper use, unauthorized modifications, damage during transport/installation/use, loss of warranty certificate or proof of purchase, mismatched serial numbers, or expired warranty.

Materials Used

Note: New products may have a slight odor from packaging. It is recommended to air them out in a cool, ventilated area for a few days.

Furniture Maintenance

• Avoid direct sunlight and heat sources.

• For oil stains, use a soft, clean, damp cloth with a mild detergent, and wipe dry immediately.
• Wipe along the wood grain, not in circles.
• Avoid using strong household cleaning agents.
• Avoid contact with sharp objects and hot liquids.
• Do not place items with rubber bases (e.g., radios, computers, phones) directly on furniture; use felt mats.
• Avoid pulling out more than one drawer at a time.
• When moving furniture, lift it horizontally and place it down; do not drag. Two people are recommended.
• Avoid extreme temperature and humidity fluctuations. Do not place furniture near air conditioner vents, fireplaces, heaters, or dehumidifiers.
• Avoid direct sunlight, as UV rays can cause fading or darkening and may lead to surface cracking. Natural wood may change color over time due to environmental factors, which is a characteristic of solid wood furniture and not a defect.

Mattress Maintenance

• Regularly change the mattress's support points. Rotate the mattress weekly for the first three months, then every 2-3 months to ensure durability.
• Keep the mattress clean. Use a vacuum cleaner to remove dust and mites. For stains or spills, use a small amount of cold water mixed with a mild detergent, then absorb excess moisture with paper towels. Do not soak the mattress in water or other liquids, especially those with coir filling.
• Avoid using acidic or alkaline cleaning agents, as they can damage the mattress and affect infant health.
• Use a mattress protector for hygiene and to prevent odors.
• If using a coir mattress, air it out every 2-3 months to keep it dry and extend its lifespan.
• Remove plastic packaging to maintain ventilation and prevent moisture buildup.

Return and Exchange Process

For returns or exchanges, please follow these steps:

• Ensure the product and packaging are intact and suitable for resale.
• Contact customer service immediately. Provide photos if there are quality issues.
• After agreeing with customer service, include a note with the reason for return/exchange, product model, quality status, your shipping address, and contact information inside the package. Ship the item back.

Customer service will process requests within 12 business hours on weekdays and 12 hours after resuming business on non-working days.
