Assembly Instructions
Step 1
Attach end panels (3-1 and 3-2) to the base using bolts (G x 4).

Attach side panels (1 and 2) to the base using bolts (B x 4).

Step 3
Attach side panels (3-1 and 3-2) to the main frame using bolts (C x 8). Note: Repeat for both ends.

Step 4
Attach the cot base supports using bolts (H x 4). Tighten all connecting bolts.

Step 5
Insert the cot base (5) into the frame. Use the top holes for high base position (for newborns) or the bottom holes for low base position (for when the baby can sit or pull themselves up). Ensure the sticker side of the base faces up. Use bolts (C x 4) for the top holes and (C x 4) for the bottom holes.

Step 6
Secure the frame using bolts (B x 8). Tighten all connecting bolts.

Step 7
Adjusting the base height: Insert bolts (E x 4) and (F x 4) into the remaining holes as illustrated to avoid little fingers getting stuck.

Step 8
Base should be in the high position before the child is able to sit or pull themselves up. Loosen all blocking bolts (C) on the Side Panels (4) as shown.

Step 9
Secure the frame with bolts (C x 4).

Step 11
Convert Your Cot to Toddler Bed: Flip the side panel, remove it, and use bolts (B x 4) to secure. When changed into a toddler bed, this label must be on the top side of the cot.

Step 12
Tighten all the connecting bolts using (B x 4).

Secure the frame with bolts (D x 4). Note: Please insert bolts into remaining holes as illustrated to avoid little fingers getting stuck.

Safety Warnings and Standards
General Safety Notes:
- Regularly check all connecting bolts and glide pins to ensure they are tight.
- Maximum mattress thickness should not exceed 120mm to prevent falls or suffocation.
- The mattress base should always be adjusted to the lowest position before the child can sit up to prevent falls.
- Follow assembly instructions carefully to ensure safety features are not compromised.
- Place the cot at a reasonable distance from curtains, blinds, heaters, and power points.
- Keep the cot free of toys, cushions, medication, string, elastic, or small items that could present a danger of suffocation, strangulation, or be used as a foothold.
- Do not use the cot if any part is broken, torn, or missing. Use only manufacturer-approved spare parts.
- Do not leave anything in the cot or place it near products that could provide a foothold or pose a danger (e.g., strings, blind cords).
- Do not use more than one mattress in the cot.
- Ensure all assembly fittings are tightened properly and checked regularly.
Australian/New Zealand Standard (AS/NZS 2172:2013):
- Recommended Mattress Size: 1320mm x 700mm x 120mm.
- Gaps between mattress and cot sides/ends should not exceed 40mm (pushed to side) or 20mm (centered).
- Cot depth must be greater than 500mm with the base in the lower position.
UK Standard (EN 716-1-2: 2017+AC: 2019):
- Recommended Mattress Size: 1320mm x 700mm x 120mm.
- If leaving a child unattended, ensure the dropside is in the highest position.
- Gaps between mattress and cot sides/ends should not exceed 30mm.
- Cot depth must be greater than 500mm (low position) or 200mm (high position).
- Warning: If a child is able to climb out, the cot shall no longer be used for that child.
- Be aware of open fire and strong heat sources near the cot.
BS 8509:2008+A1:2011 Conformance:
- Suitable for Toddler bed mode: 18 months to 4 years.
- Do not place near heat sources, windows, or other furniture.
- Designed for dismantling for storage or transportation.
- When placed against a wall, ensure a gap of 300mm or place tight to the wall to prevent entrapment.
Boori Care Instructions
Congratulations on choosing Boori products. To preserve the beauty of your furniture:
- Do not expose furniture to strong sunlight, direct heat sources, or extreme changes in temperature or moisture.
- Wipe up spills immediately with a soft, clean cloth.
- Urine spills can cause discolouration.
- Clean furniture by wiping the surface with a soft cloth dampened with water.
- For tougher cleaning, use a mild soap solution and wipe clean with a soft cloth dampened with water, then dry with a soft clean cloth.
- Do not use strong household cleaners.
- Always wipe in the direction of the wood grain, not in a circular motion.
- Avoid contact with sharp objects or containers with hot liquid.
- Avoid contact with 'rubber feet' on electronics; use a felt mat to protect surfaces.
- Do not open more than one drawer at a time (if applicable).
- When moving furniture, lift and place it; do not drag.
Boori Warranty
All Boori Collection wood products carry a full five (5) year manufacturer's warranty.
This warranty covers manufacturing defects and excludes general wear and tear, or damage caused by misuse or not following instructions.
During the warranty period, Boori will replace or repair any defective part. If a product is replaced, the warranty on the replacement expires five (5) years from the original purchase date.
The warranty is void if the product has been altered in design or colour.
Warranty Claims:
- Claims must be lodged at the place of original purchase with proof of purchase.
- Alternatively, contact Boori for further details.
Expenses for sending products for warranty claims are the customer's responsibility.
Boori's liability is limited to replacing, repairing, or covering the cost of replacement/repair of products, as permitted by law.
Other warranties, whether implied or otherwise, are excluded to the extent permitted by law. Boori is not liable for increased costs, loss of profit, revenue, business, contracts, anticipated savings, or any special, indirect, or consequential loss or damage.
Limitations on Warranty Disclaimers:
Boori products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Customers are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. Goods are also entitled to be repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality.
The benefits provided in this warranty are in addition to other rights and remedies available under law.
