Assembly Instructions

1. Step 1

   Attach the leg components (1-1, 1-2) to the seat base (2) using screws C, D, E, F, and dowel H. Do not fully tighten the bolts at this stage. Ensure parts C, E, F, and H are used as shown in the diagram.

   Diagram shows attaching leg pieces to the seat base. Part (3) is also shown in this step.

2. Step 2

   Attach the backrest (4) to the seat base (2) using bolts G. Two bolts (G) are used.

3. Step 3

   Attach the seat (1) to the assembled leg structure using screws B, E, and washers F. Two screws (B), two screws (E), and two washers (F) are used.

4. Step 4

   Attach the backrest (4) to the seat assembly using screws C, D, E, and F. Four screws (C), four screws (D), four screws (E), and four washers (F) are used. Before tightening all bolts, ensure the chair is positioned upright on a level surface.

Furniture Care Instructions

Assembly

• Follow the assembly instructions and use the supplied tools.
• Assembly should only be performed by an adult, away from children.
• Heavy components should be lifted by two people to prevent injury.
• Check each assembled section before proceeding to the next stage.

Product Positioning

• This product is made of timber and is flammable. Keep away from open flames, fireplaces, or heat sources like electric/gas heaters.
• Do not direct sprayers or humidifiers at the furniture, as this can cause damage.
• Avoid extreme temperature changes, as timber expands and contracts, which can cause damage.
• Avoid direct exposure to sunlight, which can fade natural timber and oil finishes.
• Black rubber feet on other items (radios, computers, picture frames) can cause marks; always use a felt mat (not plastic) to protect your Boori furniture.
• Do not place in damp environments or areas with high moisture, as this encourages mould growth.

Cleaning

• Clean furniture by wiping with a soft, damp cloth.
• For tougher dirt, use a mild soapy solution and wipe clean with a soft cloth.
• Do not use strong household cleaners.
• Always wipe in the direction of the wood grain, not in circles.
• Wipe up spills immediately with a soft cloth.
• Protect the furniture against bedwetting, as this can lead to discolouration.

Maintenance

• Regularly check the safety of your furniture.
• Ensure all bolts and screws are tightened and check for loose connections, missing parts, or sharp edges.
• Avoid contact with sharp objects and hot liquids.
• When moving furniture, always lift and place it into position; do not drag. It is recommended that two people lift or alter the positioning.

Warranty Information

General Warranty

Boori products carry a one (1) year manufacturer's warranty from the original purchase date. This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship but excludes general wear and tear, damage caused by misuse, improper handling, or failure to follow care and assembly instructions.

The warranty is void if the product is altered in design or colour, or if repairs are attempted by unapproved service providers.

To make a warranty claim, please contact the place of original purchase and provide proof of purchase. All expenses incurred in sending the product to Boori for warranty assessment are the customer's responsibility.

Australian Consumer Law

Boori goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Customers are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. Goods also have a right to be repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure. The benefits provided by this warranty are in addition to other rights and remedies available under law.

UK Warranty

Similar to the Australian warranty, a one (1) year manufacturer's warranty applies, excluding wear and tear, misuse, and improper handling. Proof of purchase is required for all warranty claims lodged at the place of original purchase.

Chinese Market Warranty & Service

Boori offers a one-year warranty for its products. The warranty covers free repair or replacement of defective parts. If a defect persists after two repair attempts, a replacement unit may be provided. The warranty does not cover damage from improper use, transport, installation, modification, or tampering. For warranty claims or service, customers should contact Boori customer service. Shipping costs for returns due to customer reasons are the customer's responsibility.
