Operation and Controls
The range hood operates via soft-touch controls and features an LCD display.
Initial Setup: After connecting the power cable, the LCD displays the current time.
Speed Control:

Cleaning and Maintenance
Regular cleaning is essential for maintaining the extractor's efficiency and preventing fire hazards.
Regular Cleaning:
- Never use metal sponges, abrasive pads, or hard brushes on the body or light cover.
- Use a commercial cleaning product diluted in water for cleaning the body and light cover. Rinse with clean water and dry gently.
Monthly Cleaning: Filter Cartridge
- Clean the filter every month to prevent fire hazards. The filter collects grease and dirt, playing a crucial role in the extractor's efficiency. It can be flammable if saturated with grease.
- Clean with a commercially available home product, rinse properly, and dry.
- Cleaning can be done in a dishwasher by placing the filter in the upright position. Ensure it does not come into contact with dirty dishes or pots.
Filter Removal: Diagram illustrating filter removal: 1. Push the filter back with one hand. 2. Press the filter down and pull it out.
Annual Cleaning: Carbon Filter
- For units operating in recirculation mode (not ventilated outside), the carbon filter catches odors and must be changed at least once a year, depending on usage.
- Purchase replacement filters from your dealer, referencing the number on the extractor's nameplate.
DANGER: Disconnect the extractor before servicing.
- Remove the filter.
- Place the new carbon filter into the extractor's blower and secure it directly.
- Repeat for all filters if applicable.
- Reinstall the filter.
Changing the Bulbs
Disconnect or shut off the extractor before beginning maintenance.
Models Using Bulb Lights or Neon Tube:
- Unscrew the screw securing the light cover.
- Tilt the cover back.
- The bulb type is 2W LED. Replace the old bulb with a new one.
Models with LED Lighting:
- Remove the chrome rims labeled "A" by turning them counter-clockwise.
- Change the GU10-2W-12V bulb by screwing it in.
- Reassemble by performing the operations in reverse order.
Installation
General Business:
- With an Outlet to the Outside: Your extractor can be connected via an extraction duct (enamel, aluminum, flexible pipe, or non-flammable material with an inner diameter of 150 mm, supplied with the extractor).
- Without an Outlet to the Outside: The appliance can operate in recirculation mode. In this case, add a charcoal filter activator to catch odors (refer to page 7 for instructions). This filter is available from your dealer using the reference number on the nameplate.
Mounting:
Pre-assembly Recommendations:
- The extractor must be positioned 75 cm from the burners for proper adjustment.
- Draw a vertical line on the wall to center the extractor and fireplace correctly over the stove.
- Mark a point on this vertical line 75 cm above the burner surface. This mark will guide the correct positioning using the supplied mounting pattern.
Diagram illustrating airflow and installation distance: Arrows indicate air being drawn from the cooking surface and expelled as purified air. The diagram also highlights the recommended installation distance of 30 inches (75 cm) from the stove.
Installation Steps:
- To install on the wall, drill three holes (8 mm diameter) every 100 mm in a suitable location for the extractor hook.
- Insert screw plugs into the holes.
- Fix the hook to the wall, using the drill template if available.
- Attach the soot tube to the valve and direct it outdoors.
- Place the two chimney sections onto the extractor.
- Drill two 8 mm holes for the second plate in a suitable location. Place two screws in the direction of the plate, then remove the internal chimney to the correct height. Position the inner chimney on the second plate and tighten the two screws.
Electric Connection
This appliance is supplied with a H05V VF power cable with 3 cores (0.75m², 2 phases + ground) and must be connected to a 110V single-phase mains using a plug and switch. The connection must comply with CEI83 standard and the switch must be easily accessible, featuring a contact opening of at least 3 mm.
