After installation, ensure the extractor is level to prevent grease collection at one end.
Maintenance and Cleaning
4. Maintenance and Cleaning
1. Cleaning of the Carbon Grease Filter Mesh
The filter mesh is made of high-density stainless steel. Do not use corrosive detergent. Keeping it clean ensures correct operation.
Aluminum filters should be cleaned every 15 days with neutral soap.
Method 1: Soak the mesh in 40-50°C clean water with detergent for 2-3 minutes. Clean with a soft brush. Avoid excessive pressure as the mesh is delicate.
Method 2: The mesh can be cleaned in a dishwasher at approximately 60°C.
2. Cleaning the Cooker Hood Body
To protect the main body from corrosion, clean it every two months with hot water and a non-corrosive detergent.
Recommended cleaner: WD-40.
Do not use abrasive detergent, as it can damage the body.
Keep the motor and other spare parts dry to prevent damage.
Always cut off power before cleaning.
Do not tear open the fixed bar around the carbon filter.
If the plug or cord is damaged, replace it with a special soft cord.
