Soundcore Liberty 4 NC User Manual
Getting Started
Download the soundcore app to access features like 3D surround sound, ambient sound modes, HearID sound, gaming mode, and firmware updates. If you encounter connection issues with the app, try reinstalling it or updating to the latest version.
Wearing
Choose the ear tips that fit your ears best and perform a fit test in the soundcore app to ensure optimal Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) performance.
Charging
- Tear off the insulation sticker on the earbuds before first use.
- Place the earbuds in the charging case and close it. Ensure earbuds and the USB-C charging port are dry before charging.
- Connect the charging case to a power source using a certified USB-C charging cable or place it on a wireless charger. Fully charge both earbuds and the case before the first use.
Powering On & Pairing
Open the charging case, and the earbuds will automatically power on and enter Bluetooth pairing mode. Select "soundcore Liberty 4 NC" from your device's Bluetooth list for the initial connection.
Dual Connections
The earbuds can connect to two Bluetooth devices simultaneously.
- Option A: Wear the earbuds and press and hold the touchpad on both earbuds for 3 seconds simultaneously to pair with another device.
- Option B: In the soundcore app, go to Settings > Dual Connections > Connect New Device.
Manual Pairing
To manually enter Bluetooth pairing mode, place the earbuds in the charging case, leave the case open, and press and hold the charging case button for 3 seconds until the LED indicators flash white rapidly.
Controls
Customize controls via the soundcore app. Default controls are as follows:

Ambient Sound & LDAC
Select noise cancellation, normal, or transparency mode in the soundcore app.
- Adaptive ANC: Optimizes noise cancellation based on your ears and environment.
- Transparency: Stay aware of your surroundings while listening to music.
- LDAC: Use devices with Android 8.0 or later for LDAC-quality sound. LDAC offers higher sound quality but may increase power consumption and reduce playtime. Enable LDAC in low-interference environments for a stable connection. To enable LDAC, go to Settings > Sound Mode > Preferred audio quality in the soundcore app.
Wearing Detection
Playback will automatically pause when an earbud is removed and resume when worn again. Wearing either earbud will automatically answer an incoming call.
Powering Off
Return the earbuds to the charging case and close it. They will automatically power off after 30 minutes if not connected. The duration can be adjusted in the soundcore app.
Reset
If earbuds have pairing issues, delete the pairing history from your Bluetooth device. Place earbuds in the charging case, leave it open, and press and hold the charging case button for 10 seconds until the LED indicators flash white rapidly three times.
LED Light Guide
LED indicators show battery status and connection status.

Firmware Update
You will be notified of new firmware versions via the app. Ensure earbuds are in the open charging case during the update. Keep earbuds charged and avoid usage during the update process.
