Soundcore App
Download the Soundcore app to experience ambient sound level adjustment, adaptive EQ, spatial audio, HearID, charging case controls, firmware updates, and more.
If your earbuds cannot connect to the Soundcore app, try reinstalling the app or updating it to the latest version available in your mobile app store.
General Description

- 1. Earbud Tip: The pre-installed earbud tips are size M.
- 2. Earbud Touch Control Area: Swipe up or down, or tap the touch control area on the earbud stem to perform various functions.
- 3. Charging Contacts: Contacts on the earbud for charging within the case.
- 4. USB-C Port: Port on the charging case for wired charging.
- 5. Charging Case Touch Panel: Control the smart display using the touch panel on the charging case.

- Fit Test: It is recommended to perform the fit test in the Soundcore app to ensure optimal active noise cancellation.
Cleaning
Dust, earwax, or other debris may accumulate in the earbuds. Regularly clean your earbuds to maintain optimal sound quality. Use a cotton swab slightly moistened with isopropyl alcohol to gently wipe the metal mesh filter beneath the rubber ear tips. Ensure the filter is completely dry before re-use.
Turning On and Pairing

- Open the charging case. The earbuds will automatically turn on and enter Bluetooth pairing mode.
- Google Fast Pair: Instantly pair with your Android smartphone (version 6.0 or higher) using Google Fast Pair.
- Bluetooth Pairing: To connect, select "soundcore Liberty 4 Pro" from your device's Bluetooth list. After a successful connection, the Bluetooth icon on the smart display will light up for 2 seconds and then disappear.

- The smart display shows "PAIRING" and then "CONNECTED" with a 2-second indicator.
After successful connection, the earbuds will automatically connect to your device whenever you open the charging case, provided you have not deleted the pairing history from your device.
Charging

- 1. Earbud Charging: Place the earbuds into the charging case and close it. Ensure earbuds and the USB-C port are dry before charging.
- 2. Case Charging: Connect the charging case to a power source using the provided USB-C cable. For wireless charging, place the charging case in the center of your wireless charger.
Charging Times:
- Recharging the charging case without earbuds takes 2.5 hours via cable and 3.5 hours wirelessly.
- A 5-minute charge for the earbuds provides 4 hours of playback.
Battery Indicator: When the charging case battery level drops below 20%, it will stop charging the earbuds.
Touch Panel and Smart Display
The touch panel on the charging case allows easy control of ambient sound levels and other functions.
Swipe left or right on the touch panel to adjust ambient sound levels (from 1 to 10) or access functions.
Double-tap the touch panel to confirm a function selection or return to the function menu.
By default, the menu displays only ambient sound levels. You can add more functions to the menu via the Soundcore app.
Charging Case Settings

The Soundcore app allows you to customize which functions appear in the charging case menu. Five functions are available for smart control via the charging case:
- Ambient Sound: Adjust ambient sound levels to suit your surroundings and preferences for optimal listening.
- Spatial Audio: Experience immersive 3D sound that dynamically adjusts to your head movements for a more realistic audio experience.
- Atmospheric Pressure: Monitor atmospheric pressure and adjust noise cancellation accordingly.
- Find Device: Locate lost earbuds via Bluetooth by activating sound alerts.
- Remote Camera: Use the charging case to remotely control your smartphone's camera when the phone's camera function is activated.
Connecting to Two Devices

- The "Connect to Two Devices" function is enabled by default.
- To connect a second device while already connected to one, press and hold the touch area on both earbuds for 3 seconds until you hear a voice prompt indicating pairing mode. You can then proceed to pair with the second device.
You can disable the "Connect to Two Devices" function in the Soundcore app. Tap the gear icon ⚙️ in the top right corner, navigate to "Settings", and toggle off the "Connect to Two Devices" switch.

Spatial Audio

Spatial Audio creates an immersive listening experience, making sound feel like it's all around you. Choose from four spatial audio modes in the Soundcore app:
- Music Mode: Standard spatial audio experience.
- Podcast Mode: Optimized for clear voice reproduction, ideal for listening to speech.
- Movie Mode: Enhances movie viewing with rich, immersive sound that brings action to life.
- Gaming Mode: Provides precise audio cues for competitive gaming, allowing you to hear every detail and react quickly.
Head Tracking: Listen to immersive sound that follows your head movements.
Fixed: Listen to spatial audio without head tracking.
Ambient Sound
Control via Touch Panel
Easily switch between different ambient sound levels by swiping left or right on the touch panel.
Control via App
Select noise cancellation, normal, or transparency modes in the Soundcore app:
- Noise Cancellation (Level 6-10): Optimize noise cancellation by adapting to your surroundings.
- Normal Mode: Enjoy balanced sound without noise cancellation.
- Transparency Mode (Level 1-5): Stay aware of your surroundings while listening to music.
Easy Chat

Activating "Easy Chat" automatically lowers music volume and enables transparency mode, allowing you to converse face-to-face without removing your earbuds. This mode is available only with active noise cancellation enabled.
By default, if no conversation is detected for 5 seconds, the earbuds will exit "Easy Chat" mode and return to the previous active noise cancellation and volume levels. The app allows you to set this duration to 10 or 15 seconds.

LDAC Codec

Use devices with Android 8.0 or higher to enjoy LDAC quality sound. LDAC provides higher quality audio but increases power consumption and reduces playback time.
Enable LDAC in low-interference environments for a stable Bluetooth connection.
In the Soundcore App:
- Select "Sound Mode".
- Tap "Preferred audio quality".
- If earbuds are connected to two devices, LDAC may not be supported.
- Switching audio codecs takes approximately 10 seconds. You may be prompted to update earbud firmware if an update is available.
When LDAC is enabled, "Spatial Audio" is disabled.
Wearing Detection

- Playback will automatically pause when you remove an earbud and resume when you put it back in.
- Wearing either earbud will automatically answer an incoming call.
Turning Off

- 1. & 2. Place both earbuds into the charging case and close it to turn them off.
If earbuds are removed from the charging case, they will automatically turn off after 30 minutes if not connected to any device. This duration can be adjusted in the Soundcore app.
Manual Bluetooth Pairing & Reset

- 1. Touch and hold the touch panel for 5 seconds.
- 2. Swipe to select "Bluetooth Pairing" or "Reset".
- 3. Double-tap to activate the selected option.
Bluetooth Pairing: Select this option to manually enter Bluetooth pairing mode.
Reset Settings: Select this option to restore the device to factory settings if you encounter functional issues. After selecting and confirming the reset, keep the charging case open until the process is complete. A prompt will appear on the smart display, and you will hear a notification sound from the charging case upon successful reset.

Firmware Updates

You will receive a notification when a new firmware version is detected for the earbuds or charging case when connected to the app. Ensure the earbuds are in the charging case and the case remains open until the firmware update is complete. Before updating, ensure the battery level of the earbuds and charging case is above 20% and do not interact with them.
