Quick Start Guide

Important Safety Precautions

Special attention should be paid when using test and measurement instruments. Improper usage may cause electric shock and damage the equipment.

Use proper measurement category (CAT), voltage, and amperage rated probes, test leads, and adapters.
Do not use or store the device around explosive gas, vapor, or under high temperature and humidity.
When handling test probes and crocodile clips, keep fingers behind the physical guard.
Examine measuring test leads before use. Replace any with deteriorated insulation.
Connect the common test lead before the live test lead, and remove the live test lead before the common test lead.
Before measuring current, ensure instrument fuses are available and disconnect power to the circuit under test.
Remove batteries if the device is not used for an extended period or stored above 45°C to prevent damage from battery leakage.

How to Use

Track cables

Step 1: Connect the tone generator to the cable. The generator will emit a tone.

Step 2: Use the receiver probe to follow the cable. The receiver will beep when it detects the tone.

Continuity Test

Step 2: Set the switch to 'CONT'. If the cable is continuous, the receiver will beep.
