Operating Instructions

Dear User

Thank you for choosing a REDRAGON product. To protect user rights and for better customer service, please read the following warranty rules carefully:

  1. Within 18 months of purchase date, repair is guaranteed for failure due to electrical circuit problems. Other damages, such as disassembly, hard impacts, submersion into water, plugging into improper current or voltage, and damage caused by natural disasters such as fire, flood, or earthquake, are not included.
  2. Consumable parts (such as foot pads) and spare parts replacement are not included in the warranty.

OS Support

The REDRAGON Pollux Pro keyboard supports WinXP, Vista, Win7, Win8, and Win10 operating systems.

How to Connect the Keyboard to a Computer

Wired Connection

  1. Slide the 2.4G/OFF/BT switch on the bottom of the keyboard to OFF.
  2. Use the included USB-A to USB Type-C cable to connect the keyboard to the computer.
  3. The computer will automatically recognize and configure the keyboard.
  4. The keyboard will be ready for use once configuration is complete.
  5. When the keyboard is powered up, charging begins. The LED marked with 'M' will illuminate white.

2.4G Wireless Connection

  1. Slide the 2.4G/OFF/BT switch on the bottom of the keyboard to 2.4G.
  2. Take out the nano USB receiver and plug it into an available USB port on the computer. The computer will automatically recognize and configure the keyboard.
  3. The keyboard will be ready for use once configuration is complete.
  4. In some cases, pairing may be required. Turn on the keyboard and press [FN]+[2.4G] for approximately 3 seconds. The LED marked with 'M' will flash yellow. Plug the USB receiver into any available USB port on the computer within 20 seconds. The keyboard will pair automatically. Ensure the keyboard has sufficient power before pairing.
  5. The indicator will flash when the battery is low. Recharge the keyboard promptly to prevent automatic shutdown.

Bluetooth Connection

  1. Slide the 2.4G/OFF/BT switch on the bottom of the keyboard to BT.
  2. Press [FN]+[BT1] (or [BT2]/[BT3] for other Bluetooth devices). The LED marked with 'M' will flash blue (or cyan/purple for other devices).
  3. Turn on Bluetooth and scan for available devices on the computer or smartphone. The device will appear as "BT3.0KB" or "BT5.0 KB". Select it to connect automatically.

Function Introduction

  1. With standard USB and 2.4G/BT connections, the keyboard can be used on computers without any software or driver installation.
  2. There are 20 backlight effects, accessible via the [FN]+[R_Alt] key (marked 'M' on the key).
  3. Commands of key combinations with the [FN] key:
    • [FN+ESC]: ` ~
    • [FN+1]: F1
    • [FN+2]: F2
    • [FN+3]: F3
    • [FN+4]: F4
    • [FN+5]: F5
    • [FN+6]: F6
    • [FN+7]: F7
    • [FN+8]: F8
    • [FN+9]: F9
    • [FN+0]: F10
    • [FN+"-_" ]: F11
    • [FN+"="]}: F12
    • [FN] + [Win]-L: Disable or enable the [Win] key.
    • [FN] + [Q]: Select Bluetooth device one (for Bluetooth connection).
    • [FN] + [W]: Select Bluetooth device two (for Bluetooth connection).
    • [FN] + [E]: Select Bluetooth device three (for Bluetooth connection).
    • [FN] + [R]: Change to 2.4G wireless connection. Press and hold [FN]+[4] for 3 seconds to pair the keyboard with its receiver.
    • [FN+P]: PRTSC (Print Screen)
    • [FN+{]: SCRLK (Scroll Lock)
    • [FN+]}: PAUSE
    • [FN+L]: INS (Insert)
    • [FN+;]: HOME
    • [FN+"]: END
    • [FN+,]: DEL (Delete)
    • [FN+.]: PGUP (Page Up)
    • [FN+/]: PGDN (Page Down)
    • [FN+R_CTRL]: APP (Application Key)
    • [FN+R_ALT]: Switch between 20 backlighting patterns.
    • [FN+TAB]: Set the keyboard to default setting.
    • [FN+Caps]: All keys illuminate white with one click.
    • [FN+SPACE]: Change backlight color.
    • [FN+↑↓]: Decrease/increase backlight brightness (5 levels total).
    • [FN+←→]: Change light running speed (5 levels total).
    • [FN+Backspace]: Turn ON/OFF the backlight.

How to Charge the Keyboard

Locate the USB-A to USB Type-C cable in the packaging. Plug the keyboard into a computer for charging. The LED indicator on the keyboard will turn red when charging. The LED indicator will also turn red when the keyboard's battery is low.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

  1. If the keyboard does not respond, check if the keyboard's USB cable is correctly inserted into the corresponding USB port on the computer, or try another USB port.
  2. If liquid is spilled on the keyboard, immediately unplug the keyboard's USB cable from the computer. Wipe off excess liquid and place the keyboard in a dry and ventilated area. Ensure the keyboard is dried naturally before its next use.
