The new Honeywell DT8016AF4 anti-mask motion detector is developed for medium to complex commercial environments where a Grade 3 system is required. It offers reliable security with improved false alarm immunity thanks to patented solutions. The system utilizes DualCore™ signal processing, ideal for areas difficult to secure with standard products, and integrates a total of five patented solutions for enhanced reliability and easy installation. Additionally, the detector's design provides easy access to connection terminals and quick plug-in functionality. This motion detector also features integrated End-of-Line (EOL) resistors and an improved walk test function, speeding up installation. The DT8016AF4 / DT8016MF4 achieves optimal performance through the use of X-band microwave technology and Uniform Sensitivity Optics.

Infrared Anti-Mask Technology (DT8016AF4 version only)

The detector analyzes a wide time window as well as the received signal before an alarm activation decision is made.
Patented Creep Zone Solution

Built-in anti-shock function. In case of vibrations, this component suppresses the PIR signal and ensures the device remains permanently in DUAL TEC mode.
Patented Self-Test Solution
The detector periodically tests the entire microwave circuit by sending and receiving a test signal. In case of an anomaly, the detector activates the anti-mask/trouble relay.
Patented Mounting Solution
To mount the detector to the wall, the installer simply places the screw in the predefined position, where it is automatically held in place. This makes installation faster and easier.
