- Use only the Dekala original plug for safe power delivery.
- The product is not waterproof; do not place near water or use outdoors.
- Avoid mounting or placing near heat sources like gas heaters, fireplaces, or candles.
- This is an electric product, not a toy. Keep out of reach of small children.
- LED lights are not replaceable; if damaged, the entire light strip must be replaced.
- Do not cut the light strip, as this can cause short circuits or unstable performance.
- Do not cover the product with cloth, paper, or any material not part of the product during use.
- Keep away from flammable objects.
- Unplug the product when leaving the house, retiring for the night, or if left unattended.

Controller Overview
The controller features a Control Knob for adjusting lighting speed and toggling effects, a Type-C Interface for power, buttons for Decrease Brightness and Increase Brightness, and a MIC input.
Note: Turn the control knob to adjust lighting speed. Press the control knob to toggle lighting effects.

Physical Setup
Follow these steps to set up your light strip, using the "lightning" pattern as an example (units in inches):
- Prepare the Wall: Clean the wall surface where the 3M sticker will be applied.
- Position the Strip: Set the Type-C/M end of the light strip for power connection. Refer to guidelines for shaping the light strip position.
- Adhere the Strip: Peel off the sticker paper and stick the light strip to the wall.
- Mounting Clips: Choose appropriate positions for the mounting clips to secure the light strip to the surface.
- Connect Multiple Strips: When connecting additional light strips, ensure the connecting distance is no more than 9 inches.
- Secure Cables: Use the provided adhesive cable clips to keep the lead cable steady and organized.
- Connect Power: Use the 3in1 charging cable to connect the controller, light strip, and adapter. Plug the adapter into a power source.
Note: Before sticking, plan the power connection position. The Type-C/M end is used for connecting to power.

Controller Operation
- Turn On/Off Lighting:
- After plugging into power, press the control knob to turn on the lighting.
- Long press the control knob for 3 seconds to turn off the lighting.
- Lighting Selection:
- After turning on the light, press the "Control Knob" to cycle through lighting modes such as Rainbow, Fire, Holiday, Firework, Spectrum, Chase, Breathe, Music, and Random.
- Double press the "Control Knob" to switch sub-modes within the current lighting effect.
Attention: The currently selected lighting mode is retained each time the light strip is turned on/off.
- Speed Adjustment:
- Turn the controller knob clockwise to speed up the lighting.
- Turn the controller knob counter-clockwise to slow down the lighting.
- Brightness Adjustment:
- Press the "+" button to increase brightness.
- Press the "−" button to decrease brightness.
WiFi Connecting
- Download the App: Download the "Dekala" app from the App Store or Google Play, or scan the QR code. Sign up and log in.
- Operating on the Bars: After plugging in to power, long press the control knob for 5 seconds. The light strip will flash blue, indicating it is ready to connect to WiFi.
Attention: Ensure GPS location, WiFi (2.4 GHz only), and Bluetooth are enabled before connecting the light bars to your WiFi (2.4 GHz only). You can then choose auto-search or manual connection.
Note: LightFlow™ only supports 2.4G WiFi.
APP Guidance
1. Connect Device to App
- Open the "Dekala" app and click on "+" or "Add Device".
- The app will search for devices automatically via Bluetooth. Ensure your device has entered pairing mode. Tap "Add" when your device is discovered.
- Tap "+" to add the device.
- Choose your 2.4G WiFi network and input the password.
- Wait for the device to access WiFi.
- Tap "Done" once the device is added successfully.
2. Home Page
The app's home page allows you to:
- Light Switch: Turn the light strip ON/OFF.
- Lighting Effects: Select from various modes including Rainbow, Fire, Holiday, Firework, Spectrum, Chase, Breathe, Music, and Random.
- Sub-mode Selecting: Adjust sub-modes within the current lighting effect.
- Brightness Control: Adjust the light intensity using a slider.
- Speed Control: Adjust the speed of lighting effects using a slider.
- Wake-up Light Setting: Configure wake-up times and modes. If Music mode is chosen for wake-up, the light will not turn on if no sound is detected during the alarm time.
- Sleep-aid Setting: Configure sleep-aid modes.
- Time Format Setting: Switch between 24-hour system and enable network time synchronization (WiFi only). Network time synchronization is recommended to be left on.
3. Light Switch and Re-name
- Click the toggle switch to turn the light ON/OFF.
- For voice control, click the edit icon (pencil symbol) to re-name the device.
4. Lighting Effects Setting
- Swipe to choose the sub-mode for each lighting effect. The quantity of sub-modes for each effect is listed: Rainbow (4), Fire (4), Holiday (4), Firework (9), Spectrum (9), Chase (7), Breathe (9), Music (5).
- Swipe the brightness slider to adjust brightness.
- Swipe the speed slider to adjust speed. Note: Speed adjustment may not work under "Color" mode.
5. Wake-up Light Setting
- Click the toggle switch to turn the wake-up light ON/OFF.
- Tap on the "Wake-up" section for more detailed settings. Click "<" to save and exit.
- The "Wake-up" light automatically turns off when the set time is reached. When the "Wake-up" light is on, click "STOP" to turn it off, or click the toggle switch to deactivate "Wake-up" light.
6. Sleep-aid Setting
- Click the toggle switch in the "Sleep-aid" section to turn sleep-aid light ON/OFF.
- Tap on the "Sleep-aid" section for more detailed settings. Click "<" to save and exit.
7. Time Format Setting
- Click "Time Setting" to switch the 24-hour system and network time synchronization (WiFi only).
- Network time synchronization is suggested to be left on at all times.
8. Other Settings
Click the edit icon (pencil symbol) in the upper right corner to access other settings:
- View device information.
- Configure third-party control guidelines.
- Manage offline notifications.
- Share Device, Create Group.
- Access FAQ & Feedback.
- Add to Home Screen.
- Check Device Network status.
- Check for Device Updates.
- Remove Device.
Voice Control
Example: Connecting with Alexa
Attention: Ensure your device is already linked with the Dekala App.
- Download the "Amazon Alexa" app from Google Play/App Store and sign up. If you are already an Alexa user, you can proceed directly.
- In the Alexa app, navigate to "Skills & Games", search for "Dekala", and tap "ENABLE TO USE".
- Tap "Launch" and log in to your Dekala account with the same username and password used for the Dekala app. Then, tap "Agree and link".
- Your Dekala account should now be successfully linked with Alexa. You can now voice control the device using Amazon Echo (Alexa).
To check the linking status, open the Dekala app and verify that third-party control is enabled. You can rename the device in the Dekala app, and Alexa will synchronize the new name via the cloud. Alexa can discover new devices and you can re-link renamed devices.
Voice Control Demonstration
You can rename device functions, and Alexa will recognize them as voice commands. This feature works with Alexa/Google smart home systems.
Attention: Minor delays may occur due to Wi-Fi speed and cloud processing. If Alexa fails to react, wait a few minutes and try again.

FAQ
- The device cannot be connected to WiFi?
- Ensure the router, device, and mobile phone are in the same area.
- Verify your WiFi signal is strong and usable (only 2.4 GHz WiFi network is supported).
- To connect to a different network, long-press the control knob [circular arrow symbol] to re-enter WiFi connecting mode.
- Grant the app access to Bluetooth and ensure Bluetooth is turned on.
- App suddenly loses control over the device?
This could be due to network issues or the device being offline.
- Ensure the device is powered on.
- Check WiFi signal strength by opening a web page on your phone. Confirm your phone and the device are connected to the same WiFi (2.4 GHz only).
- Open the Dekala app, stay on the home page for 3 minutes, and check if the device is still online.
- Try reopening the Dekala app.
- How to reset WiFi connection on the device?
When the light is off, long-press the control knob [circular arrow symbol] until the blue light flashes to reset the WiFi connection.
- Changes in setting on App don't sync with the device?
- Check WiFi connection (2.4 GHz only).
- Re-open the Dekala app and try again.
- Check if the internet (WIFI) speed is slow.
- Smartphone loses control over the device when under separated locations (different WiFi)?
- Check WiFi connection (2.4 GHz only).
- Restart the router and try connecting the device and your smartphone via the Dekala app again (ensure both are on the same WiFi, 2.4 GHz only).
