General Description
This smart furnishing piece combines the functionalities of a sunrise alarm clock, a LED ambient light, a Hi-Fi Bluetooth speaker, a wireless charging station, a night light table lamp, and a sleep-aid white noise machine. It features a chic design, a 3.5-inch dimmable display, two independent alarms with optional nature sounds, and a relaxing night light with an auto-off timer (up to 90 minutes). The device synchronizes local time and weather status when connected to Wi-Fi, supports both 12-hour and 24-hour time display, and offers RGB lighting effects. All functions are controllable via a dedicated app, and it is compatible with Amazon Alexa and Google Home Assistant for voice control.

- Real-time local weather status shown when connected to Wi-Fi. Status can be: clear, cloudy, rain, snow, thunderstorm.
- Time Display
- Real-time local time shown when connected to Wi-Fi. Supports DST auto-adjusting and can be switched between 24-hour and 12-hour (am/pm) display.
- Alarm Clock 1/2
- Dual alarm clocks are available. The alarm clock icon (⏰) is shown when activated and hidden when deactivated.

- Wi-Fi icon flashing: Connecting. Wi-Fi icon solid: Connected. Wi-Fi icon hidden: Failed to connect. (Long press the Wi-Fi button to reset.)

App Control
Wi-Fi Connecting
- Download the app: Download "Smart Life" from the App Store / Google Play or scan the provided QR code. Sign up and log in.
- Operating on cellphone: Turn on GPS location and Bluetooth. Connect your mobile device to a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network during setup. This is often indicated by '2', '2.4', or '2G' at the end of the network name.
- Operating on device: Connect the device to the power source. Long press the Wi-Fi button (button 6) to initiate pairing. The Wi-Fi icon will flash, indicating it is ready to connect to a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network. To reset Wi-Fi, long press the button for more than 3 seconds. Ensure the network is 2.4G Wi-Fi (not 5G) and enter the correct Wi-Fi name and password.
Connecting Device to App
- Open the "Smart Life" app and click the add device icon (➕).
- Click on "Go to add".
- Once "Dekala Arches" appears, click the add icon (➕).
- Enter the 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi password and click "Next". Ensure your smartphone and the Smart Life app are both connected to the same 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi. Keep the device, smartphone, and router in close proximity.
- After connection, you can rename the device. Click "Done" to complete the Wi-Fi connecting process. The Wi-Fi icon on the device will stay solid.
Attention: Once the initial connection is made via 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi, remote control access between the device and your smartphone can later be done using cellular data, 5G Wi-Fi, or any other networks.
App Home Page & Settings
The app interface provides control over various features:
- Info: Displays current time, temperature, humidity, and UV index.
- Night Light: Control and adjust brightness.
- Color Light: Customize color and brightness.
- Ambilight: Select lighting effects and adjust brightness/speed.
- Alarms: Set up to two alarms with various sounds and durations.
- Sleep-aid: Activate sleep sounds and set duration.
- Volume: Adjust speaker volume.
Screen Display Settings:
- Automatic time calibration via Wi-Fi (12-hour clock by default).
- Option to manually calibrate time or use the 24-hour clock system.
- Screen visibility can be adjusted with 5 levels. A "Night mode" can be activated to set reduced screen visibility during specified hours.
- Temperature display can be set to Fahrenheit or Celsius.
- Option to choose whether the colon between the hour and minute flashes or stays solid.
Alarms Setting
The device supports dual alarms (Alarm 1 and Alarm 2). Alarm 1 is recommended for weekdays, and Alarm 2 for weekends or events. The alarm icon (⏰) stays solid when activated and is hidden when deactivated. Alarms automatically turn off after 30 minutes of beeping without user interaction.
Alarms can be turned on/off directly from the app home page. Detailed settings for each alarm include:

Night Light
The night light can be controlled via the app or device buttons. When the light is off, press down on the device to turn on the "Night light". Long-press the designated button (button 3) to adjust brightness. Press button 3 to turn off the "Night light".
Color Light
The color light feature can be controlled through the app, allowing users to customize the color and adjust the brightness.
Ambilight (Ambient Light)
Users can turn the Ambilight on/off and select different lighting effects via the app. The brightness and speed of the lighting flow can also be adjusted. The "Romantic Breathe" feature allows users to synchronize their breathing with light changes, with instructions to breathe in when the red light is on and breathe out when it fades. The "Edit" option allows setting the breathing rate.
Sleep-aid
The "Sleep-aid" function can be turned on/off via the app. Users can select sleep sounds, adjust sound intensity and volume, and set the duration. The "Auto turn-off" feature can be deactivated, allowing sleep sounds to play continuously until stopped manually.
Voice Control
The Dekala Arches™ is compatible with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant. To set up voice control, link your Smart Life account with your voice assistant account via the respective app (e.g., Amazon Alexa). Example voice commands include:
- "Alexa, Turn on/off the Night Light"
- "Alexa, Set Night Light to 20%"
- "Alexa, Turn on/off the Color Light"
- "Alexa, Change Color Light to red"
- "Alexa, Turn on/off the Alarm 1/Alarm 2"
- "Alexa, Turn on/off the Sleep-aid"
Attention: Minor delays in voice command response may occur due to Wi-Fi speed and cloud processing systems. If the device or Alexa fails to react, wait a few minutes and try again.
Button Control
Bluetooth
Press the Bluetooth button (button 2) to turn the Bluetooth speaker on/off. The Bluetooth icon (?) flashes during pairing and stays solid when connected to a smartphone. To pair with a different smartphone, turn off Bluetooth on the currently connected device.
Alarms
Alarms can be activated/deactivated using the Alarm button (button 4). When an alarm is activated, the preset schedule displays on the screen for 3 seconds. The alarm icon (⏰) stays solid when activated and is hidden when deactivated. Alarms automatically turn off after 30 minutes of beeping without user interaction.
Snooze Mode
To enter snooze mode, press down on the device during an alarm beep or click "snooze" in the Smart Life app home page. The alarm will sound again after the snooze period.
Turn Off Alarm
To turn off the alarm completely (it will not beep again until the next scheduled time), press any button on the device or click "stop" in the Smart Life app home page.
Night Light
Control the night light using the device buttons: press down on the device to turn on the "Night light" when it is off. Long-press the designated button (button 3) to adjust brightness. Press button 3 to turn off the "Night light".
Ambilight (Ambient Light)
When the light is on, press down on the device to switch between "Ambilight" lighting effects. Long-press the designated button (button 3) to adjust the brightness. Press button 3 to turn off the "Ambilight".
Sleep-aid
Use the Sleep-aid button (button 5) to turn the "Sleep-aid" function on/off. Press the light switch icon to turn off the light during "Sleep-aid" mode.
Wireless Charger
Place a wireless-charging supported smartphone on the charging pad to start charging. The charging icon (?) will be solid on the screen when the smartphone is being charged. A hidden icon indicates the smartphone is not being charged. A flashing icon (?) indicates Foreign Body Detection (FOD), meaning the smartphone is not wireless-charging supported or an object is obstructing the charging process.
Charging Output
The device supports Type-C power cable input. The wireless charger output is 5V-1A.

FAQ
- 1. Fail to find the device.
- Ensure cellphone Bluetooth is on, the device is powered on, and the device and cellphone are placed close to each other.
- 2. Fail to connect WiFi (the Wi-Fi icon is hidden).
- Verify connection to a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network (not 5GHz), ensure the phone and device are under the same Wi-Fi, and confirm the Wi-Fi name and password are correct. Long-press the Wi-Fi button to reset Wi-Fi if incorrect credentials were entered.
- 3. How to find your 2.4 GHz WiFi network name and password.
- Check your WiFi router label. 2.4 GHz networks often have "2.4" or "2G" in their name. Contact your Internet Service Provider (ISP) if unsure.
- 4. Bluetooth connection failed.
- Confirm that the mobile phone Bluetooth is enabled and that the device has not been connected to another Bluetooth device.
- 5. App loses control over the device.
- Ensure the device is powered on, check the Wi-Fi signal strength, and verify that the device and smartphone are connected under the same 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi. Re-open the Smart Life app and try again.
- 6. Changes in app settings don't sync with the device.
- Check the Wi-Fi connection between the device and your smartphone, and the Wi-Fi signal strength. Re-open the Smart Life app and try again.
- 7. Smartphone loses control over the device when under separated locations (different Wi-Fi).
- Check the Wi-Fi signal strength and ensure the device and smartphone are connected under the same 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi. Re-open the Smart Life app and try again, or try restarting the router.
- 8. Other issues.
