Safety Instructions
READ AND FOLLOW ALL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS.
- Please use the Dekala original plug for safe power supply.
- The product is not waterproof. Do not mount or place near water or use outdoors.
- Do not mount or place near gas or electric heaters, fireplaces, candles, or other similar heat sources.
- This is an electric product, not a toy. It should not be played with or placed where small children can reach it.
- The LED light is not replaceable. If a light is damaged, the entire light strip must be replaced.
- This light strip cannot be cut; doing so will cause a short circuit or unstable performance.
- Do not cover the product with cloth, paper, or any material not part of the product when in use.
- Do not place near flammable objects.
- Unplug the product when leaving the house, when retiring for the night, or if left unattended.

Note: Some strips are 13.8 inches.
Controller Operation
1. Turn on/off lighting
- After plugging into power, press the control knob to turn on lighting.
- Long press the control knob for 3 seconds to turn off lighting.
2. Lighting Selection
- After turning on the light, press the "Control Knob" to cycle through lighting modes: Rainbow, Fire, Holiday, Firework, Spectrum, Chase, Breathe, Music, Random.
- Double press the "Control Knob" to switch sub-modes.
Attention: The currently selected lighting will be active each time the light strip is turned on/off.
3. Speed Adjustment
- Turn the controller knob clockwise to increase lighting speed.
- Turn the controller knob counter-clockwise to decrease lighting speed.
4. Brightness Adjustment
- Press "+" to increase brightness.
- Press "-" to decrease brightness.
Physical Setup
Example using the "lightning" pattern (measurements in inches):
Step 1: Prepare and Position
- Clean the wall surface where the 3M sticker will be applied.
- Position the Type-C/M end of the light strip downwards for power connection.
- Refer to guidelines for shaping the light strip's position.
- Peel off the sticker paper from the 3M adhesive and stick it to the wall.
Note: Plan the power connection position before sticking. The Type-C/M end connects to power.
Step 2: Attach Mounting Clips
- Choose appropriate positions for the mounting clips on the surface to secure the light strip.
Step 3: Connect Additional Strips
- Place the next light strip. Ensure the connecting distance between light strips is no more than 9 inches.
Step 4: Secure Cables
- Use the provided adhesive cable clips to keep the lead cable tidy and organized.
Step 5: Connect Power
- Use the 3in1 charging cable to connect the controller, light strip, and adapter.
- Plug the adapter into a power source.
Application of 7 Interface Hub
Example using the "Fireworks" shape:
Connect the Light Strip (Type-C/M) to the 7 Interface Hub. Connect the 7 Interface Hub to the 3in1 Charging Cable, then to the Controller and the 12V-2A Adapter, and finally to a power source.
WiFi Connecting
1. Download the App
Download the "Dekala" app from the App Store or Google Play, or scan the QR code. Sign up and log in.
Attention: Ensure GPS location, WiFi (2.4 GHz only), and Bluetooth are enabled before connecting the light strips to your WiFi (2.4 GHz only). You can then choose auto-search or manual connection.
2. Operating on the Bars for WiFi Connection
- After plugging in the power, long-press the control knob for 5 seconds. The light strip will flash blue, indicating it is ready to connect to WiFi.
Attention: LightFlow™ Only Supports 2.4G WiFi.
App Guidance
1. Connect Device to App
- Open the "Dekala" app and tap "+" or "Add Device".
- The app will search for devices via Bluetooth. Tap "Add" when your device is found.
- Tap "+" to add the device.
- Choose your 2.4G WiFi network and enter the password.
- Wait for the device to connect to WiFi.
- Tap "Done".
2. Home Page
The app's home page allows control over:
- Lighting Effects: Select from modes like Rainbow, Fire, Holiday, Firework, Spectrum, Chase, Breathe, Music, Random.
- Sub-mode Selecting: Adjust within the current lighting effect.
- Brightness Control: Adjust brightness using a slider.
- Speed Control: Adjust lighting speed using a slider.
- Wake-up Light Setting: Configure wake-up light. If "Music" mode is chosen for wake-up and no sound is detected during the alarm time, the light will not turn on.
- Sleep-aid Setting: Configure sleep-aid light.
- Time Format Setting: Switch between 24-hour system and network time synchronization (WiFi only). Network time synchronization is recommended to be enabled at all times.
3. Light Switch and Re-name
- Click the toggle switch to turn the light on/off.
- For voice control, tap the icon to re-name the device.
4. Lighting Effects Setting
- Swipe to choose the sub-mode for each lighting effect. The quantity of sub-modes is as follows: Rainbow (4), Fire (4), Holiday (4), Firework (9), Spectrum (9), Chase (7), Breathe (9), Music (5).
- Swipe the brightness slider to adjust brightness.
- Swipe the speed slider to adjust speed.
Note: Speed adjustment does not work under "Color" mode.
5. Wake-up Light Setting
- Click the toggle switch to turn the wake-up light on/off.
- Tap the "Wake-up" section for detailed settings. Click "<" to save and exit.
- The "Wake-up" light automatically turns off at the set time. While the "Wake-up" light is on, click the "[STOP button]" to turn it off, or click the toggle switch to deactivate the "Wake-up" light.
6. Sleep-aid Setting
- Click the toggle switch in the sleep-aid section to turn sleep-aid light on/off.
- Tap the "Sleep-aid" section for detailed settings. Click "<" to save and exit.
7. Time Format Setting
- Click "Time Setting" to switch the 24-hour system and network time synchronization (WiFi only).
8. Other Setting
- Click the icon in the upper right corner to access device information, third-party control guidelines, offline notification settings, and options to remove the device.
Voice Control
Example: Alexa Connecting Setup
Attention: Ensure your device is already linked with the Dekala App.
- Download the "Amazon Alexa" app from Google Play/App Store and sign up. If you are already an Alexa user, you can proceed directly.
- Choose "Skills & Games", search for "Dekala", and tap "ENABLE TO USE".
- Tap "Launch" and log in to Alexa Dekala using the same username and password as your Dekala app. Tap "Agree and link".
- After seeing "Your Dekala account has been successfully linked.", you can control the device with Amazon Echo (Alexa).
Open the Dekala app to verify the third-party control link. If it shows connected, your accounts are linked on the cloud. You can rename the device in the Dekala app, and Alexa will synchronize the new name automatically.
Attention: You can also have Alexa discover new devices and repeat the linking process to re-link with a renamed device via the Dekala app (optional).
Voice Control Demonstration
You can rename device functions, and Alexa will sync and recognize them as voice commands. Works with Alexa/Google smart home.
Attention: Minor delays may occur due to Wi-Fi speed and cloud processing. If the device or Alexa fails to respond to voice commands, wait a few minutes and try again.

FAQ
1. The device cannot be connected to WiFi?
- Place the router, device, and mobile phone in the same area (as closely as possible).
- Ensure your WiFi signal is strong or usable (only 2.4 GHz WiFi network is supported).
- To connect to a different smartphone or WiFi network, long-press the control knob to re-enter WiFi connecting mode.
- Grant the app access to Bluetooth and turn on Bluetooth on your cellphone.
2. App suddenly loses control over the device?
This could be due to network or device offline status.
- Ensure the device is powered on.
- Check WiFi signal strength (open a random web page for testing) and confirm the device and smartphone are connected to the same WiFi (2.4 GHz only).
- Open the Dekala app, stay on the home page for 3 minutes, and check if the device is still online.
- Re-open the Dekala app and try again.
3. How to reset WiFi connection on the device?
When the light is off, long-press the control knob until the blue light flashes to reset the WiFi connection.
4. Changes in setting on App don't sync with the device?
- Check WiFi connection (2.4 GHz only).
- Re-open the Dekala app and try again.
- Check if the internet (WIFI) speed is slow.
5. Smartphone loses control over the device when under separated locations (different WiFi)?
- Check WiFi connection (2.4 GHz only).
- Restart the router and try connecting the device and your smartphone via the Dekala app again (ensure both are on the same WiFi, 2.4 GHz only).
