Preparation

Before assembly, verify all parts against the package and hardware lists. If any part is missing or damaged, contact customer service for replacements.

Assembly is recommended on a clean, soft surface, such as cardboard.

Tools Required (not included): Drill, PH2 screwdriver, Rubber mallet, Adjustable Wrench.

Assembly Instructions

1. Step 1: Connect the two back panels (A and B) by sliding the preassembled screws in panel A into the key slots of panel B. Tighten the screws. Place panels on a soft surface to prevent scratches.
2. Step 2: Connect the left side panel (C) and right side panel (D) to the assembled back panels by sliding preassembled screws into the key slots. Tighten the screws.
3. Step 3: Align and attach the base panel (E) to the assembled unit. Tap gently with a rubber mallet until secure. Repeat for the top panel (F).
4. Step 4: Verify that the holes on the front edges of the base panel (E) and top panel (F) align with the holes on the side panels (C and D). Secure the panels using ST4.8 x 10 mm screws (AA). Place the cabinet upright.
5. Step 5: Attach outside cabinet brackets (EE) and inside cabinet brackets (FF) to the cabinet using 5/16 - 18 x 3/4 in. carriage bolts (BB), 5/16-18 in. flange nuts (CC), and 1 in. flat washers (DD). Attach cabinet spacers (GG) to the back of the unit using 1/4 - 20 x 1/2 in. truss screws (HH), 1 in. flat washers (DD), and 1/4 - 20 in. hex nuts (II).
6. Step 6: Install the bottom shelf (G) by tipping it into the cabinet and aligning its cut-outs with the back seams of the side and back panels. Lower the shelf, ensuring its front edge overlaps the front flange of the base panel (E). Determine the location for the adjustable shelf (H) and snap it into the unit's hooks.
7. Step 7: Attach the doors (I and J) by lifting and pulling the L-shaped pivot pin on the edge of each door, aligning the assembly holes with the base panel (E) and top panel (F), then releasing.
8. Step 8: Determine the mounting location for the cabinet bracket (K). Drill 4 holes (approx. 8.5 mm diameter) into wall studs. Insert expansion tubes (JJ) into the holes. Feed ST4.8 x 57 mm pan head tapping screws (KK) through 5 x 15 x 1.2 mm washers (LL) and the cabinet bracket (K). Screw into the expansion tubes (JJ) in the wall studs. Ensure the bracket (K) is installed horizontally for proper door alignment.
9. Step 9: Carefully lift and place the outside cabinet brackets (EE) into the top cabinet bracket (K).

Troubleshooting

PROBLEM: Screws will not align into holes.

POSSIBLE CAUSE: Natural properties of sheet metal cause slight changes in pre-drilled hole location.

CORRECTIVE ACTION: Place screws into all aligned holes and hand tighten. Use a 3/8 in. hole-punch through both holes to force alignment. With the punch in place, tighten remaining screws. Once removed, screws should fit easily.

PROBLEM: Doors will not remain closed.

POSSIBLE CAUSE: Unit is not level.

CORRECTIVE ACTION: Remove the unit from the wall and ensure studs are plumb and square.
