Assembly Steps
Step 1: Base Frame Assembly
Lay out four long panels on a protected surface. Join two long panels to two other long panels at right angles using dowels and screws, forming a rectangular base frame.
Step 2: Inserting Dowels into Shelves
Insert wooden dowels (101339) into the pre-drilled holes on the edges of several shelf panels. Gently tap with a hammer if needed.
Step 3: Attaching Side Panels
Attach the side panels to the assembled base frame. Align the panels with the dowels and press them together. Arrows indicate the direction of insertion.
Step 4: Preparing More Shelves
Insert wooden dowels (101339) into the pre-drilled holes on the edges of additional shelf panels.
Step 5: Inserting Shelf Panels
Slide the prepared shelf panels into the frame, aligning them with the corresponding slots and dowels. Arrows indicate the insertion direction.
Step 6: Inserting Dowels into Further Shelves
Insert wooden dowels (101339) into the pre-drilled holes on the edges of more shelf panels.
Step 7: Adding Internal Dividers
Insert more shelf panels into the frame to form internal compartments. Arrows indicate the direction of insertion.
Step 8: Continuing Divider Assembly
Continue inserting shelf panels into the frame to build up the grid structure.
Step 9: Inserting Dowels into Remaining Shelves
Insert wooden dowels (101339) into the pre-drilled holes on the edges of the remaining shelf panels.
Step 10: Adding More Internal Dividers
Insert more shelf panels into the frame. Arrows indicate the direction of insertion.
Step 11: Completing the Shelf Grid
Continue inserting shelf panels to complete the internal grid structure of the shelving unit.
Step 12: Securing Dividers
Insert wooden dowels (101339) into the pre-drilled holes on the edges of the remaining shelf panels. Gently tap with a hammer if needed.
Step 13: Attaching Long Side Panels
Attach the long side panels to the partially assembled unit. Arrows indicate the direction of insertion.
Step 14: Attaching Top/Bottom Panel
Attach the top or bottom panel to the unit. The diagram shows a panel being rotated and fitted into place, secured by dowels and possibly screws (details in later steps).
Step 15: Securing Top/Bottom Panel
Secure the top or bottom panel using long screws (104321, 104322) and the wall bracket (121030) with the metal rod (100092). The diagram shows a close-up of this connection.
Step 16: Adding More Dividers
Insert wooden dowels (101339) into the pre-drilled holes on the edges of the remaining shelf panels.
Step 17: Attaching Final Long Panel
Attach the final long side panel to the unit. The diagram shows it being rotated and fitted into place.
Step 18: Securing Final Panel
Secure the final long panel using long screws (104321, 104322) and the wall bracket (121030) with the metal rod (100092).
Step 19: Attaching Stabilizers
Attach the three hexagonal stabilizer pieces (10002300, 10050334) to the back of the unit using screws.
Step 20: Final Placement and Wall Attachment Preparation
Carefully move the assembled unit to its final location. Use a spirit level to ensure it is straight. Prepare for wall attachment by identifying the correct mounting points and brackets.
Step 21: Wall Attachment - Furniture Bracket Installation
Attach the furniture brackets (103693) to the top rear of the unit using short screws (100372). The diagram shows the bracket being positioned and secured.
Step 22: Wall Attachment - Securing to Wall
Position the unit against the wall. Mark the wall through the holes in the furniture brackets. Drill holes in the wall and insert appropriate wall plugs (not included). Secure the unit to the wall using screws (not included) through the brackets.
Step 23: Final Wall Securing
Further secure the unit to the wall using the L-shaped corner brackets (10091413) and long screws (104321, 104322). The diagram shows these brackets being attached to the unit and the wall.
