Battery Information
Before using the charger, locate the voltage selector switch (li-ion chargers only) on the back of the charger. Select 115 volts or 230 volts depending on your country of residence. Using the wrong voltage setting will permanently damage the charger and/or electrical components.
Battery Assembly:
- Use the matching charger.
- Insert the round plug into the E-Bike first, then insert the charger plug into the electrical socket.
- A red light indicates the battery is charging. ?
- A green light indicates the battery is fully charged. ?
- The lock position will vary from model to model.
- The battery is removable and can be charged attached to the e-bike or pulled out separately.
Charging the Battery:
- When using the charger for the first time, check if the charger's rated output voltage is consistent with the battery voltage and if the charger's input voltage is consistent with the grid voltage.
- When charging, place the charger in a ventilated area, then insert the charger output plug into the charging port. Plug the electrical power plug into the 100-240V 50/60Hz AC Power Supply. Ensure the input plug remains in contact with the AC outlet.
- After charging, pull out the input plug of the charger first, then pull out the output plug connected to the electric bike. Do not leave the charger connected to the power socket for extended periods without charging.
Precautions for Battery Protection:
- Do not place anything on the battery and charger when charging, as this may cause overheating and serious consequences.
- Use only the charger supplied by the original factory. Using a different charger will disqualify the battery from warranty.
- You can charge your battery at any time if it loses power.
- Failure to charge in time will gradually reduce the battery's performance and service life.
- Protection features can help maintain about 80% of the battery's capacity after more than 500 charges, but overall decline is inevitable.
- Leaving the battery in a state of power loss for a long time will lead to permanent performance loss.
- To store the battery for a long time, store it in a cool and dry place. Discharge it periodically.
- Keep the temperature between 10-21°C and avoid direct sunlight. Take the battery out for charging every 30 days.
- Do not intentionally short-circuit the battery, as this will cause very serious consequences.
- After the battery life has reached its end, dispose of batteries responsibly by researching local recycling regulations. ♻️
- For questions about battery use, maintenance, or storage, contact customer service.
