7. How to Configure Your Razer DeathAdder V3 Pro via Razer Synapse
Disclaimer: An internet connection is required for installation, updates, and cloud-based features. Registration with a Razer ID account is recommended but optional. All listed features are subject to change based on the current software version, connected device(s), and supported applications/software.
Synapse Guide
The Synapse tab is the default tab when Razer Synapse is opened. This tab allows you to navigate the Panel sub-tab.

Customize
The Customize sub-tab allows you to modify your mouse's button assignments.
Profile: A Profile is a data storage that keeps all your Razer peripheral settings. By default, the profile name is based on your system name. To add, rename, duplicate, or delete a profile, press the Other button (...).
Default / Hypershift: Hypershift mode is a secondary set of button assignments activated when the Hypershift key is pressed. By default, Hypershift mode is assigned to your keyboard's Fn key with Razer Synapse support. However, you can also choose any mouse button as the Hypershift key.
Multi-Device Pairing: Use this feature to pair an additional HyperSpeed compatible device with the Razer DeathAdder V3 Pro's wireless USB dongle. As your wireless USB dongle can support a keyboard and a mouse simultaneously, you can avoid using separate dongles for each peripheral.
Your Razer DeathAdder V3 Pro must be connected in HyperSpeed Wireless (2.4 GHz) mode for this feature to be utilized. Each peripheral can only connect to one dongle at a time.

Clicking the Sidebar button (☰) will display all current button assignments for your Razer DeathAdder V3 Pro.

Disable:
Makes selected keys unusable. Use this function if you do not want to use a selected button or if it interferes with your game.
Performance
The Performance sub-tab allows you to adjust sensitivity, acceleration, and polling rate.
Sensitivity:
Sensitivity refers to the distance the cursor will travel based on mouse movement. Higher DPI means the cursor moves further with the same mouse movement.
Sensitivity Stage:
A sensitivity stage is a preset sensitivity value. You can create up to 5 different sensitivity stages, which you can cycle through using the DPI toggle button. You can use the Enable X-Y Sensitivity option with this.
Enable X-Y Sensitivity:
By default, the X (horizontal) and Y (vertical) axes use the same sensitivity values. You can set different sensitivity values for each axis by selecting this option.
Polling Rate (Response):
A higher polling rate means the computer receives information about the mouse's status more frequently, effectively reducing input latency and improving cursor reaction time. You can switch between 125 Hz, 500 Hz, and 1,000 Hz.
Mouse Properties:
Access Windows Mouse Properties to modify operating system settings that directly affect your Razer DeathAdder V3 Pro.
Calibration
The Calibration sub-tab allows you to optimize your Razer Precision Sensor for any surface for better tracking.
Intelligent Tracking:
Allows you to set the distance at which the sensor stops tracking when lifted from the surface, preventing unwanted cursor movements. You can assign different values for lift-off and landing distances by selecting Asymmetric Lift-Off.
Power
The Power sub-tab allows you to manage your device's power consumption by configuring it to turn off after a set idle time. You can also adjust the battery percentage required for the mouse to enter Power Saving Mode to conserve battery life.
Profiles Guide
The Profiles tab is a convenient way to manage all your profiles and link them to your games and applications.
Devices:
View which games are linked to each device's profiles or which Chroma Effect is linked to a specific game using the Devices sub-tab.
Connected Games:
The Connected Games sub-tab allows you to add games, view devices linked to games, or search for added games. You can also organize games alphabetically, by last used, or by most played. Added games will remain listed here even if they are not linked to a Razer device.
To link games to Chroma Effects or connected Razer devices, click on any game in the list, then click 'Select a device and its profile' to automatically open during gameplay to select the Chroma Effect or Razer device to link with. Once connected, you can click the Other button (...) for the respective device or Chroma Effect to select a specific profile or Chroma Effect.
Settings Window
The Settings window, accessible by clicking the (✡) button in Razer Synapse, allows you to configure Synapse's startup behavior and display language, view the main guides for each connected Razer device, or perform a factory reset on any connected Razer device.
General Guide:
Allows you to change the display language, startup behavior, theme, and on-screen notification display of the software. You can also manually sync your profiles to the cloud (2) or view the main guide for all connected Razer devices and installed modules.
Panel Guide:
Use the Panel guide to customize Razer device recommendations based on your setup; your played games will be displayed in the Panel.
Reset Guide:
The Reset guide allows you to perform a factory reset on all connected Razer devices with onboard memory and/or reset Razer tutorials.
Note: All profiles stored in the selected device's onboard memory will be erased upon performing a Razer device reset.
About Guide:
The About guide displays brief software information and copyright statements, and provides relevant links for your terms of use. You can also use this guide to check for software updates or access Razer's social communities.
8. Safety and Maintenance
Safety Guidelines
For maximum safety during the use of your Razer DeathAdder V3 Pro, follow these guidelines:
- If you experience issues using the device and troubleshooting is insufficient, disconnect the device and contact Razer support or visit support.razer.com.
- Do not disassemble the device or attempt to operate it under abnormal current conditions. Doing so will void your warranty.
- The Razer DeathAdder V3 Pro requires a USB connection capable of providing sufficient power for charging. Charging may be affected when connecting the mouse to unpowered USB hubs or ports, common in keyboards and peripherals.
- Keep the device away from liquids or moisture. Operate the device only within the specified temperature range of 0°C (32°F) to 40°C (104°F). If the temperature exceeds this range, turn off and/or disconnect the device to allow it to stabilize at an optimal temperature.
Comfort
Prolonged repetitive movements, improper posture, and bad habits can lead to physical discomfort and injuries. Follow these guidelines for injury prevention and optimal comfort:
- Position your keyboard and monitor directly in front of you, with the mouse placed nearby.
- Keep your elbows close to your body, not extended too far, and your keyboard within easy reach.
- Adjust your chair and desk height so that your keyboard and mouse are at or below elbow height.
- Keep your feet flat on the floor, maintain an upright posture, and relax your shoulders.
- During gameplay, relax your wrist and keep it straight. If you perform repetitive manual tasks, avoid bending, extending, or twisting your hands for extended periods.
- Do not rest your wrists on hard surfaces for long periods. Use a wrist rest while gaming.
- Do not maintain the same position all day. Stand up, step away from your desk, and do exercises to stretch your arms, shoulders, neck, and legs.
- If you experience any physical discomfort during mouse use, such as pain, numbness, or tingling in your hands, wrists, elbows, shoulders, neck, or back, consult a qualified medical professional immediately.
Maintenance and Use
The Razer DeathAdder V3 Pro requires minimal maintenance. We recommend disconnecting the device from your computer once a month and cleaning it with a soft cloth or cotton swab to prevent dirt buildup. Do not use soap or harsh cleaning products.
For the ultimate movement and control experience, using a premium Razer mousepad is highly recommended. Some surfaces cause excessive wear on the mouse feet, requiring constant care and eventual replacement.
The Razer DeathAdder V3 Pro's sensor is optimized for Razer mousepads, ensuring the best reading and tracking performance.
Battery Notice
The Razer DeathAdder V3 Pro contains a rechargeable Li-ion battery. Battery life depends on usage. If you suspect the battery is low, try charging it.
Caution: Do not open, damage, expose to conductive materials (metal), moisture, liquids, fire, or heat. This may cause the battery to leak or rupture, resulting in personal injury. Battery life varies with use.
