Mouse Tab

The Mouse tab is the primary tab for your Razer DeathAdder V3 Pro. From this tab, you can change your device's settings, such as button configuration and DPI sensitivity. Changes made in this tab are automatically saved to your system and cloud.

Customize

You can also switch to a specific button configuration by selecting it in the Customize tab.

When selecting a button configuration, you may be prompted to change it to one of the following functions:

Sensitivity

This function allows you to adjust the sensitivity of your Razer DeathAdder V3 Pro by pressing a button. Below are the different sensitivity options and their descriptions:

Click here to learn more about sensitivity levels.

Macro

A macro is a pre-recorded sequence of keyboard and button presses executed with precise timing. By configuring a button's function to Macro, you can easily execute a series of commands. This function is only visible when the macro module is installed.

Change Profile

Changing profiles allows you to quickly switch between profiles and load a new set of button configurations. An on-screen notification will appear when you change profiles.

Inter-device Function

The inter-device function allows you to modify the functionality of other devices running on Razer Synapse. Some of these functionalities are device-specific, such as using your Razer keyboard to adjust the sensitivity of your Razer mouse.

Razer Hypershift

Configuring the button to the Razer Hypershift function will allow you to activate Hypershift mode as long as you press the button.

Launch Program

Launch Program allows you to open an application or a web page using the assigned button. When you select Launch Program, two options will appear, allowing you to search for a specific application you want to open, or enter the address of a web page you wish to visit.

Multimedia

This option allows you to assign multimedia commands to your Razer device. Below are the multimedia commands you can choose from:

Windows Shortcuts

This option allows you to assign a mouse button to a Windows operating system shortcut. For more information, visit: support.microsoft.com/kb/126449

Text Function

The Text Function allows you to type pre-written text by pressing a button. Simply write the desired text in the appropriate field, and your text will be typed as soon as you press the associated button. This function is fully Unicode-enabled, and you can insert special characters and symbols.

Disable

This option renders the associated key unusable. Use the Disable option if you do not want to use the selected button or if it interferes with your work.

Performance

The Performance sub-tab allows you to adjust sensitivity, acceleration, and polling rate.

Sensitivity

Sensitivity refers to the distance the cursor travels in relation to the mouse's movement distance. The higher the sensitivity, the greater the distance the cursor travels, even if the mouse's movement distance remains the same.

Sensitivity Levels

A sensitivity level is a predefined sensitivity value. You can create up to 5 different sensitivity levels, which you can cycle through using the DPI button. You can use Activate X/Y Sensitivity simultaneously with this option.

Activate X/Y Sensitivity

By default, the X-axis (horizontal) and Y-axis (vertical) use the same sensitivity values. However, you can set different sensitivities for each axis by selecting the Activate X/Y Sensitivity option.

Polling Rate

The higher the polling rate, the more information the computer receives about your mouse's status, effectively reducing input latency and improving pointer reaction time. You can switch between 125 Hz, 500 Hz, and 1000 Hz by selecting your desired polling rate from the available options.

Mouse Properties

You can access Windows mouse properties to modify your operating system settings that directly affect your Razer DeathAdder V3 Pro.

Calibration

The Calibration sub-tab allows you to optimize the Razer Precision sensor on any surface for better tracking.

Smart Tracking

Smart Tracking allows you to set the distance at which the sensor stops tracking when lifted from the surface, to prevent unwanted cursor movement. You can assign different values for lift-off and landing distances by selecting Activate Asymmetric Lift-Off.

Reset

To reset your mouse, press and hold the left and right buttons and the scroll wheel for 7 seconds.

Power

The Power tab allows you to manage your device's power consumption by powering it off when it's idle for a certain period. You can also adjust the required battery percentage for the mouse when entering Low Power Mode to conserve battery life.

Profiles Tab

The Profiles tab is a convenient way to manage all your profiles and associate them with your games and applications.

Devices

View which games are associated with each device's profiles or which Chroma effect is associated with specific games using the Devices sub-tab.

You can import profiles from your computer or the cloud using the import button (), or create new profiles on the selected device using the Add (+) button. To rename, duplicate, export, or delete a profile, press the More (...) button. With the Associated Games option, each profile can be activated when you launch an application.

Associated Games

The Associated Games sub-tab allows you to add games, view devices associated with games, or search for added games. You can also sort games alphabetically, by last played, or by most played. Added games will always be listed here, even if they are not associated with a Razer device.

To associate games with connected Razer devices or Chroma effects, click on any game in the list, then click Select a device and its profile to launch automatically during the game session to select the Razer device or Chroma effect to associate. Once connected, click the More (...) button for the corresponding Chroma effect or device to select the Chroma effect or a specific profile.

Settings Window

The Settings window, accessible by clicking the button () in Razer Synapse, allows you to configure the startup behavior and display language of Razer Synapse, view the user guides for each connected Razer device, or perform a factory reset for connected Razer devices.

General Tab

The General tab allows you to change the display language, startup behavior, display theme, and on-screen notification display of the software. You can also manually sync your profiles to the cloud (2) or view the user guides for all connected Razer devices and installed modules.

Dashboard Tab

Use the Dashboard tab to customize which Razer device recommendations and which games appear on the Dashboard.

Reset Tab

The Reset tab allows you to perform a factory reset on all connected Razer devices with integrated memory and/or reset Razer Synapse tutorials to familiarize yourself with Razer Synapse's new features upon its next startup.

All profiles saved to the selected device's integrated memory will be erased during a Razer device reset.

About Tab

The About tab displays information about the software, as well as a copyright statement and links to its terms of use. You can also use this tab to check for available software updates or quickly access Razer's social communities.

Safety and Maintenance

Safety Guidelines

To use your Razer DeathAdder V3 Pro under optimal safety conditions, we recommend following these instructions:

If you experience difficulties operating your device correctly and troubleshooting does not resolve your issue, unplug your device and contact Razer telephone support or visit support.razer.com.

Do not disassemble the device or attempt to operate it with abnormal current. This will void your warranty.

The Razer DeathAdder V3 Pro requires a USB connection capable of providing sufficient power to charge the device. Charging may fail when you connect your devices to an unpowered USB hub or unpowered USB ports commonly found on keyboards and peripherals.

Keep the device away from liquids and humidity. Operate the device only within a temperature range of 0°C (32°F) to 40°C (104°F). If the temperature exceeds these limits, turn off and/or unplug the device to allow the temperature to stabilize at an optimal level.

Comfort

Research has shown that prolonged periods of repetitive movements, incorrect positioning of your electronic peripherals, incorrect body posture, and bad habits can be associated with physical discomfort and injury to nerves, tendons, and muscles. Here are instructions to avoid injuries and ensure maximum comfort when using your Razer DeathAdder V3 Pro.

If you feel any physical discomfort while using your mouse, such as pain, numbness, or tingling in your hands, wrists, elbows, neck, or back, consult a qualified medical professional immediately.

Maintenance and Use

The Razer DeathAdder V3 Pro requires minimal maintenance to remain in optimal working condition. Once a month, we recommend disconnecting the device from the computer and cleaning it with a soft cloth or cotton swab to prevent dirt buildup. Do not use soap or harsh cleaning products.

To optimize your movement and control experience, we highly recommend a premium Razer mouse mat. Certain surfaces may wear down the feet, requiring constant maintenance that will lead to replacement. Please note that the Razer DeathAdder V3 Pro is particularly optimized for Razer mouse mats. The sensor has been extensively tested to confirm that the Razer DeathAdder V3 Pro performs better reading and tracking on Razer mouse mats.

Battery Alert

The Razer DeathAdder V3 Pro contains a rechargeable lithium-ion battery. In general, the battery life depends on its usage. If you believe the rechargeable lithium-ion battery of the Razer DeathAdder V3 Pro is depleted (low charge), try recharging it.

Caution: Do not open, damage, or expose to conductive materials (metal), humidity, liquid, fire, or heat. Such practices may lead to battery explosion or leakage, which can cause injury. Battery life varies with your usage.
