Important Safety Information
WARNING:
Please inspect the product carefully before assembly. If any damage is apparent, contact your carrier's claims agent and do not proceed with installation until reviewed. Be aware of pinch points and avoid placing fingers between moving parts. Do not tamper with or disassemble any spring-loaded components.
Before installation, ensure the supporting surface can safely bear five times the combined load of the solution and hardware. Never exceed the maximum load capacity.
Lay out all components to confirm all required parts are present before proceeding (refer to the Bill of Materials on the following page). Using this product for purposes other than its intended use may lead to failure or personal injury. This product is designed for indoor use only.
It is recommended to use a qualified tradesperson for installation. Use an assistant or lifting equipment when lifting and positioning products.

Components List
# | Description | QTY |
---|---|---|
1 | GK1 Gyrolock | 1 |
2 | Gyrolock Adapter Plate (GAP) | 1 |
3 | Universal Adapter Plate (GAPU) (Optional) | 1 |
Note: Gyrolock Adapter Plates (GAP) are specific to your projector; illustrations may differ. Universal Adapter Plates (GAPU) fit many projectors. All have identical connection systems.
Standard Installation (Ceiling Mount)
Step 1: Mount Ceiling Plate
Using the four mounting slots on the ceiling plate, determine the desired installation location, mark it, and fix the plate into position. If installing on a slanted ceiling, adjust the angle of the body by loosening the side screws, levelling the plate, and then tightening the screws again. Consider cabling and fixings prior to installation. Ensure the surface can support five times the combined weight of the solution.
Step 2: Attach Adapter Plate to Projector
Fix the Gyrolock Adapter Plate (GAP) to the projector using the provided screws. The GAP is designed specifically for your projector; tighten all screws securely.
Step 3: Connect Projector to Gyrolock
Offer the projector up to the Gyrolock. The GAP should engage with the corresponding Trilok mechanism. A bowl shape at the bottom of the Trilok aids location. Once positioned and with upward pressure maintained, turn the projector horizontally through 180 degrees to lock it.
Step 4: Secure Gyrolock to GAP
Release pressure to confirm the projector is correctly in place. Then, tighten the three knurled screws to lock the Gyrolock to the GAP.
Step 5: Adjust Alignment
Use the pan, tilt, and yaw levelling functions to adjust the projector's alignment. Finally, tighten all dome-headed screws using the provided allen key.
Step 6: Adjust Drop Length
The length of the drop can be adjusted by loosening the allen screws, adjusting the telescopic section as needed, and then fully re-tightening the screws.
Floor or Table Mounted Installation
Step 1: Prepare Gyrolock and Fixing Plate
Invert the Gyrolock and remove the two allen screws at the fixing plate. Swivel the Gyrolock arm mechanism through 180 degrees. Locate the arm's top edge into the slots on the fixing plate. Refit the allen screws and tighten them. Screw the fixing plate into the horizontal surface (fixing screws are not provided).
Wall Mounted Installation
Step 1: Mount Gyrolock to Wall
Orientate the Gyrolock as shown and mount it to the wall through the fixing plate. Due to the additional cantilever forces in this orientation, the projector weight is restricted to 12kg.
Truss Mounted Installation
Step 1: Secure Truss Clamp
Loosen the truss clamp to open it. Place it around the truss, close the clamp, and tighten until secure. Consider cabling and fixings prior to installation. Ensure the surface can support five times the combined solutions weight. Continue with Step 2 on page 3.
Column Mounted Installation
Step 1: Mount Ceiling Plate
Using the four ceiling mounting slots, determine the desired installation location, mark it, and fix it into position. Consider cabling and ceiling fixings prior to installation. Ensure the surface is capable of supporting five times the combined solutions weight.
Step 2: Install Column
Slide all cabling through the column and through the gap in the ceiling plate socket. Carefully slide the column into the socket, ensuring the two holes on either side align with those on the mount. Use the through bolt to secure the column in place and tighten the two grub screws at the rear. Follow Step 2 on page 3.
Step 3: Attach Mount Adapter
Slide the mount adapter into the bottom of the column and secure it on either side using the provided dome-headed screws. Continue with Step 3 on page 3.
Fitting Universal GAP Plate (GAPU)
Step 1: Align GAPU to Projector
Align the Universal Gyrolock Adapter Plate (GAPU) to the projector. Loosen the large knurled screws and adjust the arms so that the small knurled fixing screws align with the projector's fixing holes.
Step 2: Secure GAPU to Projector
Once aligned, tighten the small knurled fixing screws into the projector. If the projector's fixing plane has contours, height adjustment is possible using the small knurled fixing screw. Tighten all large knurled fixing screws to secure the GAPU.
Step 3: Complete Installation
Follow Steps 3 to 6 on Pages 3 and 4 to complete the installation.
