Use
Note:
- Keep the glass plate dry; a wet plate presents a slipping hazard.
- Stand still while weighing; the display changes if your body weight shifts.
- Avoid dropping the product and do not subject it to knocks or blows – risk of material damage.
- This product is a precision instrument and must be handled carefully.
- If the product does not start, check that the battery is inserted and not discharged. Insert a charged battery.
- If the display shows an error or the product does not switch off automatically, remove the battery, wait 3 seconds, and reinsert it to reset the software.
Placement and Operation
- Place the bathroom scales on a hard, level surface for best precision. Do not place it on a carpet or other soft surface. [Diagram: Scale on flat surface]
- Note: Check before weighing that there are no foreign objects under the product.
- Carefully step onto the bathroom scales. The scales start automatically. [Diagram: Person stepping on scale]
- Stand still, spreading your weight uniformly, until the display stabilises. [Diagram: Stable weight reading]
Automatic Power-Off
After stepping off the scales, they switch off automatically. They also switch off if the measured weight does not change within approximately 8 seconds. [Diagram: Scale display after auto-off]
Battery Replacement
Remove the insulation from the battery before use. [Diagram: Battery insulation removal]
- Remove the battery cover and lift it off. [Diagram: Battery cover removal]
- Press the battery lightly to spring it up. [Diagram: Battery pushed up]
- Put the positive terminal of the new battery under the positive symbol and press the battery in place. Double-check that the battery is inserted with the correct polarity. [Diagram: New battery insertion]
Maintenance
- Clean the bathroom scales with a damp cloth. Make sure that no water gets into the scales.
- Do not use strong or abrasive detergents.
- Store the bathroom scales in a dry and cool place.
- When putting the bathroom scales away, keep them flat.
Troubleshooting
Overload Reading
Overload (maximum permissible weight shown on the display). [Diagram: Overload indicator]
Step off to avoid damaging the scales.
Battery Indicator
Discharged battery. Put in a new battery. [Diagram: Low battery indicator]
Repeat Weighing
