Product Description

The SITRANS FM MAG 5100 W is an electromagnetic flow sensor designed for volume flow measurement of conductive liquids. It is suitable for applications in water abstraction, water & wastewater treatment, water distribution networks, and custody transfer metering.

The sensor features flanged connections with diameters ranging from DN 15 to DN 1200 (1/2" to 48"). This specific model has DN 100, 4-inch EN 1092-1 PN 16 flanges with a standard face-to-face length (1.25 x DN) and is PED compliant.

Construction details include a carbon steel housing (ASTM A 105) with a corrosion-resistant coating compliant with EN ISO 12944 grade C4. The sensor is equipped with an EPDM liner and Hastelloy C-276 electrodes. It also includes grounding electrodes and is designed for remote transmitter mounting (transmitter sold separately). The sensor supports no bus communication and comes with metric cable glands. It is available with a Polyamid terminal box or as part of the MAG 6000i integral mount system.
