Product Description
The SITRANS FM MAG 5100 W is an electromagnetic flow sensor designed for volume flow measurement of conductive liquids. It is suitable for applications in water abstraction, water and wastewater treatment, and water distribution networks, as well as for custody transfer metering.
The sensor features flanged connections with diameters ranging from DN 15 to DN 1200 (1/2" to 48"). This specific model has DN 100, 4-inch EN 1092-1 PN 16 flanges with a standard face-to-face length (1.25 x DN) and is PED compliant. The sensor is constructed with carbon steel (ASTM A 105) with a corrosion-resistant coating (acc. to EN ISO 12944 grade C4) and an EPDM liner. It includes Hastelloy C-276 grounding electrodes.
The sensor is designed for use with a remote transmitter, which must be ordered separately. It supports no bus communication and comes with metric cable glands. The terminal box is made of Polyamid, or it can be integrated with the MAG 6000i integral mount.
