Product Description
The SITRANS FM MAG 5100 W is an electromagnetic flow sensor designed for volume flow measurement of conductive liquids. It is suitable for applications in water abstraction, water & wastewater treatment, and water distribution networks, as well as custody transfer metering.
The sensor features a flanged design with diameters ranging from DN 15 to DN 1200 (1/2" to 48"). Specific details include DN 300, 12 inch EN 1092-1 PN 16 flanges with a standard face-to-face length for the sensor (1.25 x DN). The sensor is constructed with PED compliant carbon steel ASTM A 105, featuring a corrosion-resistant coating according to EN ISO 12944 grade C4, and an EPDM liner. It includes Hastelloy C-276 grounding electrodes.
This sensor is designed for use with a remote transmitter (transmitter ordered separately) and supports no bus communication. It is equipped with metric cable glands and a Polyamid terminal box or can be integrated with the MAG 6000i integral mount.
