Product Description
The SITRANS FM MAG 5100 W is an electromagnetic flow sensor designed for volume flow measurement of conductive liquids. It is suitable for applications in water abstraction, water & wastewater treatment, and water distribution networks, as well as custody transfer metering.
This sensor features flanged connections with diameters ranging from DN 15 to DN 1200 (1/2" to 48"). The specific model mentioned, 7ME6520-4HC13-2AA1, has DN 150 (6 inch) EN 1092-1 PN 16 flanges with a standard face-to-face length (1.25 x DN) and is PED compliant. The sensor is constructed with carbon steel ASTM A 105 and features a corrosion-resistant coating according to EN ISO 12944 grade C4. It includes an NBR liner and Hastelloy C-276 grounding electrodes.
The sensor is designed for remote transmitter mounting and requires the transmitter to be ordered separately. It supports metric cable glands and has a Polyamid terminal box or can be used with the MAG 6000i integral mount.
