Assembly Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Back Plate
Loosely thread the screws (DD) and the toggles (EE) onto the back plate (BB).
Diagram shows screws (DD) and toggles (EE) being attached to the back plate (BB). The mounting hole on the back plate must face upwards.
Step 2: Mount the Back Plate to the Wall
Line up the back plate (BB) with the outlet box and press the toggle screws (DD) against the wall to mark the anchor points. Drill four ½" holes for the toggles (EE).
Compress and push the assembled toggles (EE) and back plate (BB) into the anchor points created. Continue to thread the toggle screws (DD) into the toggles (EE) until the back plate (BB) is tightened securely against the wall.
Finally, secure the back plate to the outlet box using the mounting screws supplied with the outlet box (not provided). Tighten securely.
Diagram illustrates marking anchor points, drilling holes, inserting toggles, and attaching the back plate to the wall and outlet box.
Step 3: Connect the Wires
Strip ⅜" of insulation from the electrical wire ends. Using wire nuts (AA), connect the WHITE fixture wire to the WHITE supply wire from the outlet box; connect the BLACK fixture wire to the BLACK supply wire from the outlet box.
Connect the fixture ground wire and supply ground wire using a wire nut or by fastening to the ground screw on the back plate. Push all of the wire connections carefully into the outlet box.
Wiring diagram shows connections: White fixture wire to White supply wire, Black fixture wire to Black supply wire, and ground wire to ground screw/wire. Uses UL-approved wire nuts (AA).
Step 4: Mount the Fixture Body
Slide the mounting holes on the fixture (A) over the back plate screws (BB) and using the cylinder nuts (CC), tighten the fixture against the mounting surface.
Diagram shows the fixture (A) being attached to the back plate using screws (BB) and cylinder nuts (CC).
Step 5: Attach Glass Shades and Lamps
Attach the glass shades (B) to the fixture (A) using the socket rings (C) and secure modestly tight.
Thread the lamps (not included) into the fixture sockets. Use 60-watt MAX incandescent medium base lamp, SBCFL or SBLED.
Diagram shows glass shades (B) being attached with socket rings (C), and a lamp being screwed into the socket.
Mounting Orientation
The fixture can be mounted up or down.
