- ⚠️ WARNING: Children should not play with the air conditioner.
- Do not expose yourself to prolonged direct cold airflow, as it may affect your health.
- Cleaning and user maintenance should not be performed by children without supervision.
- Do not insert fingers or objects into air outlets, as the internal fan rotates at high speed and can cause injury.
- Use only specified fuses.
- Do not touch controls with wet hands, as this may cause electric shock.
- Do not swing from or hang on the indoor unit.
- Keep flammable sprays (insecticides, paints) away from the unit.
- Do not place fuel-burning appliances directly in the airflow.
- Do not wash the unit with water, as this can cause electric shock.
- Do not use high-pressure washers, as they may damage the unit.
- Do not use the unit for storing food, plants, or artwork.
- Do not place water containers (e.g., vases) on the unit.
- Do not direct airflow onto plants or animals, as it may be harmful to them.
- Do not stand or sit on the unit.
- Periodically check the mounting structure for secure fastening.
- Do not touch the heat exchanger fins.
- Keep the area around the outdoor unit clear of obstructions and leaves to prevent foreign objects from entering and contacting electrical parts.
- ⚠️ CAUTION: Do not disconnect power immediately after stopping the unit. Wait at least 5 minutes.
- Do not attempt to operate the unit using the main power switch.
- Protect the unit from liquids and do not place water containers on it.
- Consult your dealer for internal cleaning of the unit.
- During thunderstorms, stop operation and disconnect power.
- If the power cord is damaged, contact a qualified technician.
Maintenance & Repair Safety
- Do not attempt to repair or modify the unit yourself. Contact your dealer for any repairs.
- If the unit is not cooling or heating, check for refrigerant leaks and contact your dealer.
- Inhaling refrigerant gas can cause dizziness, headaches, or cardiac arrhythmias.
- Refrigerant leaks near heat sources can produce harmful gases.

Tips for Effective Operation
- Set an appropriate room temperature. Avoid extreme settings that waste energy and can affect comfort.
- Regularly clean the air filters. Clogged filters reduce efficiency and increase noise.
- Avoid direct sunlight and drafts. Close curtains or blinds during cooling operation.
- Ensure proper airflow by keeping indoor unit vents clear.
- Use timers effectively to operate the unit only when needed.
- Keep doors and windows closed when the unit is operating, except for ventilation.
- Keep heat sources away from the unit during cooling operation.
Appliance Care
Before Cleaning
- Disconnect the power supply before cleaning.
- Do not allow water to enter the unit.
- Wipe the unit with a soft, dry cloth.
- Do not touch the aluminum fins of the heat exchanger.
- Do not use hot water (over 40°C), gasoline, solvents, or polishing agents, as they can cause deformation or discoloration.
During the Operating Season
- Clean the air filters regularly. Refer to dealer for cleaning instructions.
End of Season
- Run the fan for 2-3 hours to dry the interior components.
- Stop the unit and disconnect the power supply.
- Clean the air filters and reinstall them.
- Remove batteries from the remote control if the unit will be stored for an extended period.
Start of Season
- Check the grounding wire for damage or disconnection.
- Inspect the outdoor unit's mounting base for corrosion or rust.
- Ensure no objects obstruct the airflow at the indoor and outdoor unit vents.
- Connect the power supply.
- Insert batteries into the remote control.
Troubleshooting
Before calling for service, check the following:
- Unit does not operate: Check if the power switch is on. Check if a timer is set. Check for power outage or blown fuse.
- Weak cooling or heating: Check if the thermostat is set correctly. Check if the air filter is clean. Ensure doors/windows are closed. Check for direct sunlight or heat sources in the room.
- Other issues: Refer to the self-diagnosis section for error codes indicated by blinking RUN and TIMER lights.
If problems persist after these checks, contact your dealer.
Notes on Operation
Airflow
- During HEATING start-up, there may be no airflow for 2-5 minutes as the unit warms up.
- During defrosting (especially in cold, humid conditions), the unit may temporarily stop heating and emit steam. This is normal.
- The indoor fan may stop temporarily to prevent moisture from being blown out.
Noise
- Bubbling or crackling sounds may occur due to refrigerant circulation or thermal expansion/contraction.
- Hissing or whistling sounds may indicate normal operation of control valves or the compressor.
Other
- The unit may have a 3-minute delay before restarting after being switched off to protect the compressor.
- In COOL mode, slight steam may be emitted from the indoor unit, especially in humid conditions.
- If the unit does not receive signals from the remote control, check for obstructions or direct sunlight on the remote receiver.
- Moisture may form on the air outlet grilles if the unit has been idle in high humidity.
- The fan may continue to run for a short period after shutdown for cooling or cleaning operations.
