Operation Precautions
WARNING
Children shall not play with the air-conditioner. Do not expose yourself to cooling air for extended periods. Cleaning and maintenance should not be done by unsupervised children. Do not insert anything into the air outlet, as the internal fan rotates at high speed. Children aged 8+ and persons with reduced capabilities can use the unit with supervision. Store the remote control out of reach of children.
CAUTION
Use only approved fuses. Do not use steel or copper wire instead of fuses. Do not handle switches with wet hands. Do not swing from the indoor unit. Do not place flammable insecticides or spray near the unit. Do not expose combustion appliances to the airflow. Do not wash the unit with water. Do not use for food preservation or with precision devices. Do not place water containers on the unit. Do not aim airflow at plants or animals. Do not step or sit on the unit. Regularly check the unit's support structure.
Do not touch aluminum fins. Do not place electrical appliances or household items underneath the unit. Do not operate without air filters. Do not pour liquid into the unit. Ventilate the room when operating with combustion appliances. Stand firmly on stable objects when cleaning. Stop the unit and turn off power before cleaning. Do not place objects or allow leaves around the outdoor unit.
Do not shut off power immediately after stopping operation. Wait 5 minutes. Do not control the system with the main power switch. Contact your dealer for repairs or if the power cable is damaged.
Wireless LAN Precautions
WARNING
Do not use wireless LAN near automatic control equipment, in hospitals where wireless devices are prohibited, or near individuals with pacemakers/defibrillators, as it may cause equipment malfunction.
CAUTION
Do not use wireless LAN near other wireless devices or microwaves. When operating from outdoors, confirm unit status and room occupants. Notify occupants if operating from outdoors. Check operational status periodically, as sudden temperature changes can affect health.
Precautions for Relocation or Repairs
WARNING
Do not perform repairs yourself; consult your dealer. Improper repairs can cause leaks, shocks, or fire. If the unit fails to cool/warm, contact your dealer for potential refrigerant leaks. If refrigerant contacts skin, it can cause cold injury. Inhaling refrigerant gas can cause dizziness, headache, or heart palpitations. If refrigerant leaks onto a heat source, harmful gases may be generated.

During the Operational Season
Cleaning the Air Filter
Standard interval: every two weeks. Remove air filter by pulling up the air inlet panel. Clean filter with warm water (approx. 30°C) if very dirty. Do not use boiling water or dry over flame. Reinstall securely. Operating without filters can cause dust and damage.
Cleaning the Unit
Wipe with a soft, dry cloth or vacuum cleaner. Use a cloth soaked in warm water for heavy dirt.
Cleaning the Air Inlet Panel
The panel can be washed with water. Wipe dry out of direct sunlight.
How to open and close the air inlet panel
Open by placing thumbs on the lower part and pulling up. Close by pushing corners evenly.
How to remove and install the air inlet panel
Open panel 90 degrees, pull forward to remove. Install by inserting panel arm into slot, holding ends, lowering, and pushing until latched.
At the end of the season
Perform fan operation for 2-3 hours to dry unit. Stop unit and turn off power. Clean and reinstall filters. Clean indoor/outdoor units. Remove remote batteries.
At the beginning of the season
Ensure earth wiring is secure. Check for corrosion on outdoor unit base. Ensure no airflow obstructions. Turn on power source. Insert remote batteries.
Installing, Inspecting and Replacing the Air-Cleaning Filter
Remove air filters. Remove allergen clear filter (light orange), clean with vacuum. Replace if dirty or after 1 year. Install air-cleaning filter. Install air filters and close panel. CAUTION: Heat exchanger has sharp edges. Stand firmly on stepladder. Contact dealer for replacement filter.
Proper Installation
Suitable Installation Position
Ensure no obstruction to indoor unit ventilation. Avoid places with flammable gas or oil. Avoid corrosive environments (spas, seaside). Keep unit at least 1 meter from TV/radio. Ensure drain liquid drains well.
Pay Attention to Operating Noises
Choose a stable location to minimize noise/vibration. Use vibration-proof pads if necessary. Select a location that does not inconvenience neighbours with cold/hot air or noise. Ensure no obstacles near outdoor unit inlets/outlets. Contact dealer for irregular noises.
Inspection and Maintenance
Regular inspection and maintenance recommended for performance and longevity. Contact dealer for service (fee applies). Recommended during off-season. Damaged supply cords must be replaced by authorized repair shops.
Troubleshooting
Check power switch, timer settings, power failure/fuse, thermostat setting, filter cleanliness, open doors/windows, direct sunlight, heat sources, and room occupancy before calling for service. If issues persist, switch off power and contact dealer.
Notice
Airflow
HEATING OPERATION: Air not blown out or delayed blowing (5-15 mins) may occur due to warming up the indoor heat exchanger. RUN light blinks slowly. DRY OPERATION: Air may not be blown out. Indoor fan may stop to prevent re-evaporation of dehumidified moisture.
Noise
Gurgling sound: Refrigerant movement. Cracking sound: Heat expansion/contraction. Hissing/Clicking: Refrigerant control valves or electric components. Whistling: Compressor speed change. "Shooooo" sound: Another indoor unit stopped.
Operation
Timer functions set via wireless remote can be canceled by signals from wired remote or smartphone app. It is recommended to use only one timer type.
Others
Unit does not restart immediately: Restart blocked for 3 mins for protection. Steam release during COOL: May occur with high room temp/humidity; disappears as temp/humidity decrease. Close windows/doors. Slight smell: Caused by tobacco/cosmetics on unit. No auto-restart after power cut: Ensure auto-restart function is set. Remote signal issues: Avoid direct sunlight or bright light on the signal receiver. Moisture on grills: May form with long operation in high humidity. Fan not stopping: Indoor fan runs for 2 hours in SELF CLEAN. Outdoor fan stops for 1 min for protection. RUN light stays on: Illuminates during SELF CLEAN; turns off when complete.
Contact Your Dealer
Turn off power immediately and inform dealer if fuse blows continuously, cable gets hot, cable is cracked, TV/radio malfunctions, switch fails, strange noise occurs, or abnormalities persist after restart. Blinking RUN/TIMER lights or non-working lights indicate issues.
Auto Restart Function
Records operational status before power cut and resumes automatically after power is restored. Timer settings and HIGH POWER operations are canceled. Function is set ON by default; consult dealer to switch off. Timer settings are canceled by power failure and must be reset.
