Operation
How to charge a power station
- Place the solar panel under direct sunlight, avoiding any objects that could shade it and slow down charging.
- Connect the solar connectors of the solar panel with a solar charge cable (sold separately). Then, connect the cable to the DC input port of the power station.
How to charge a battery
- Connect the COMPACT-SUITCASE connector to the PV Terminals of a charge controller (sold separately).
- Connect the BATT Terminals of the charge controller to the battery terminals using tray cables (sold separately).
- Set the charging parameters on the charge controller. The COMPACT-SUITCASE is then ready to charge the battery.
How to connect COMPACT-SUITCASE in series/parallel
To expand the power output, COMPACT-SUITCASE panels can be connected either in series or parallel.
Series Connection
To connect COMPACT-SUITCASE panels in series, connect the positive output of one panel to the negative input of the next panel. This increases the total voltage while maintaining the current.
Parallel Connection
To connect COMPACT-SUITCASE panels in parallel, connect all positive outputs together and all negative outputs together. This increases the total current while maintaining the voltage. An MC4Y connector (sold separately) is required for parallel connections.
