Installation
Step 1: Open the packaging bag, grasp the handles, and pull upwards to extract the COMPACT-SUITCASE section and raise the brackets to their maximum positions. (Diagram shows a folded solar panel unit being extracted from its packaging bag by pulling on handles. Support brackets are then shown extending to their maximum positions.)
Step 2: Fully unfold the COMPACT-SUITCASE and place it on the ground. (Diagram illustrates the COMPACT-SUITCASE solar panel fully unfolded and positioned on the ground, supported by its extended legs.)
Step 3: Adjust the angle of the brackets to ensure the stability of the COMPACT-SUITCASE, with the lighting surface facing towards the sun. (Diagram shows the unfolded solar panel angled towards the sun. A close-up inset highlights the adjustable bracket mechanism, indicating how to set the angle for optimal sun exposure and stability.)
Operation
How to charge a power station
- Place a solar panel under direct sunlight. Steer clear of objects that can shade the solar panel and slow down the charging process.
- Connect the solar connectors of the solar panel with the solar charge cable (sold separately), then connect to the DC input port of the power station. (Diagram depicts a portable power station with multiple output ports, connected via cables to a folded COMPACT-SUITCASE solar panel array.)
ℹ️ NOTE: The solar charge time is highly dependent on solar irradiance and ambient temperature.
ℹ️ NOTE: The operating voltage of the solar panel shall exceed the minimum DC-input voltage of the power station, and the open circuit voltage shall NOT exceed the maximum DC-input voltage of the power station.
How to charge a battery
- Connect the BATT Terminals of the charge controller to the battery terminals using tray cables (sold separately).
- Connect the COMPACT-SUITCASE connector to the PV Terminals of the charge controller using a solar charge cable (sold separately). (Diagram illustrates the connection for charging a battery: a COMPACT-SUITCASE solar panel array is connected via cables to a charge controller, which is then connected to a battery.)
- Set the charging parameters on the charge controller. The COMPACT-SUITCASE is now ready to charge the battery.
How to connect COMPACT-SUITCASE in series/parallel
To expand the power output, COMPACT-SUITCASE can be connected either in series or parallel.
Series Connection: (Diagram shows how to connect multiple COMPACT-SUITCASE panels in series to increase voltage. It illustrates the wiring between panels and connection to a power station.)
Parallel Connection: (Diagram shows how to connect multiple COMPACT-SUITCASE panels in parallel to increase current. It illustrates the wiring between panels, potentially using a splitter cable (MC4Y connector), and connection to a power station.)
