Installation

To install the COMPACT-SUITCASE Portable Solar Panel:

  1. Open the packaging bag, grasp the handles, and pull the unit upwards to extract the COMPACT-SUITCASE section.
  2. Raise the brackets to their maximum positions.
  3. Fully unfold the COMPACT-SUITCASE and place it on the ground.
  4. Adjust the angle of the brackets to ensure the stability of the COMPACT-SUITCASE, with the lighting surface facing towards the sun.

Operation

How to charge a power station

  1. Place the solar panel under direct sunlight. Ensure no objects shade the solar panel, as this can slow down the charging process.
  2. Connect the solar connectors of the solar panel with the solar charge cable (sold separately).
  3. Connect the solar charge cable to the DC input port of the power station.
ℹ The solar charge time is highly dependent on solar irradiance and ambient temperature.
ℹ The operating voltage of the solar panel shall exceed the minimum DC-input voltage of the power station, and the open circuit voltage shall NOT exceed the maximum DC-input voltage of the power station.

How to charge a battery

  1. Connect the COMPACT-SUITCASE connector to the PV Terminals of a charge controller (sold separately).
  2. Connect the BATT Terminals of the charge controller to the battery terminals using tray cables (sold separately).
  3. Set the charging parameters on the charge controller. The COMPACT-SUITCASE is now ready to charge the battery.

How to connect COMPACT-SUITCASE in series/parallel

To expand the power output, COMPACT-SUITCASE can be connected either in series or parallel.

Connecting in series:

Connect the positive output of one COMPACT-SUITCASE panel to the negative input of the next panel. The final positive and negative terminals will connect to your power station or charge controller. For example, two panels connected in series will double the voltage while keeping the current the same.

Connecting in parallel:

Connect the positive outputs of all COMPACT-SUITCASE panels together and the negative outputs of all panels together. These combined positive and negative terminals will then connect to your power station or charge controller. This method requires an MC4Y connector (sold separately) and will double the current while keeping the voltage the same for two panels.
