App Function Introduction
1. APP Main Interface
The Laresmart app provides comprehensive control over your L6 Nex robot vacuum. Key functions accessible via the app interface include:
- Restricted area setting: Define zones the robot should avoid.
- Map editing: Manage and refine the robot's generated map.
- More function: Access additional settings and features.
- Worked time: View the robot's operational duration.
- Switch on/off: Start or stop cleaning cycles remotely.
- Cleaning as required: Initiate cleaning in a specific spot.
- Cleaning of selected area: Designate a particular area on the map for cleaning.
- Cleaned area: View the areas the robot has already cleaned.
- Remaining power: Check the robot's current battery level.
- Cleaning of defined area: Schedule cleaning for specific, pre-defined zones.
- Recharge: Command the robot to return to its charging base.
2. Intelligent Cleaning (Default Mode)
The robot vacuum scans your home environment to create a map. It then intelligently divides the space into areas and cleans them sequentially, typically following a Z-shaped pattern. After completing the cleaning cycle, the robot automatically returns to its charging base.
Note: For optimal map building, start the robot from the charging base during its first cleaning session.
3. Cleaning as Required
Use the Laresmart app to select a specific point on the generated map. The robot vacuum will navigate to that point and clean a 1.6m x 1.6m square area centered around it.
4. Cleaning of Selected Area
Select a specific area on the map within the Laresmart app. The robot vacuum will then proceed to clean only the designated area.
Note: To ensure the robot does not enter unintended areas, clear any obstacles on the ground around the selected cleaning zone. This function does not provide safety isolation.
5. Cleaning of Defined Area
Use the Laresmart app to select one or more defined areas on the map for the robot to clean. The robot vacuum will clean these specific areas.
Note: Similar to selected areas, clear obstacles around defined zones to prevent the robot from entering unplanned spaces. This function does not provide safety isolation.
6. Restricted Area Setting
Utilize the Laresmart app to activate the restricted area editing function. You can select and set specific areas on the map that the robot vacuum should not enter during its cleaning cycles.
Notes:
- This function is solely for defining cleaning boundaries and should not be used to block dangerous areas.
- If the robot vacuum is moved, or if there are significant changes to your home environment, the map may become ineffective, and previously set restricted areas might be lost.
How to Use Your L6 Nex
1. Place Charging Dock and Power It
Position the charging dock against a wall on a level surface. Ensure adequate clearance: approximately 0.5 meters (19.69 inches) on each side and 1.5 meters (59.06 inches) in front. Place any excess power cord into the trunking located at the back of the charging dock.
2. Install the Side Brushes
Attach the side brushes to the underside of the robot vacuum by pressing them onto the designated posts until they click into place.
3. Start Cleaning
You can start a cleaning cycle by pressing the power button located on the robot unit itself or by initiating the process through the Laresmart app.
4. Recharge Method
The L6 Nex robot vacuum can be recharged in several ways:
- Automatically recharge after cleaning: The robot returns to the charging base once a cleaning cycle is complete.
- Automatically recharge when battery power is low: The robot will return to charge when its battery level drops to 15% or below.
- Manually recharge at any time: You can initiate a recharge command via the Laresmart app at any point.
Attention & Safety Precautions
To ensure optimal performance and safety, please observe the following:
- Clear Obstacles: Power lines and other debris scattered on the floor can trip up the robot. Please clear them before operation.
- Carpet Tassels: Clean carpet tassels or ensure the robot operates on short-hair rugs for better performance.
- Furniture Gaps: A gap of less than 8cm (approximately 3.15 inches) at the bottom of furniture may cause the product to get stuck. If necessary, remove such furniture or adjust its placement.
- Multi-level Homes: For safety, a guardrail should be placed at the edge of duplexes or stairs to ensure the safe operation of the product.
