6. How to Use the App
6.1 Intelligent Cleaning (Standard Mode)
The robot vacuum cleaner scans the working environment, creates a map, and intelligently divides the areas. It cleans each area individually, filling in a Z-shaped pattern along the walls. After cleaning is complete, the robot vacuum cleaner returns to the charging station.
Tip: For better map creation, the robot must start from the charging station during the first cleaning.
Do not move the main unit randomly or frequently during operation. Place the main unit back near its original location after moving it. When restarting the machine, the device will attempt to re-position its coordinates. After successful positioning, it will continue working according to the planned path. If positioning fails, the device will abandon the previous task and create a new map for cleaning, but it may not be able to charge.
6.2 Spot Cleaning
Use the Laresmart APP to select the desired cleaning function. Select a point on the map, and the robot vacuum cleaner will move to the designated position and clean a square area of 1.6m x 1.6m centered on itself.
Tip: Before using this function, you must create the map for the first cleaning in the Laresmart APP.
6.3 Zone Cleaning
Use the Laresmart APP to select the zone cleaning function. Select the area to be cleaned on the map, and the robot vacuum cleaner will clean the selected area.
Tip: Before using this function, you must create the map for the first cleaning in the Laresmart APP.
The main unit might enter unplanned areas, so please clear obstacles on the floor around the planned area. This area cannot serve as a safety isolation.
6.4 Defined Area Cleaning
Use the Laresmart APP to select the defined area cleaning function. Select the defined area on the map, and the robot vacuum cleaner will clean the defined area.
Tip: Before using this function, you must create the map for the first cleaning in the Laresmart APP.
The main unit might enter unplanned areas, so please clear obstacles on the floor around the planned area. This area cannot serve as a safety isolation.
6.5 Setting a No-Go Zone
Use the Laresmart APP to select the no-go zone editing function. Select the no-go zone for cleaning on the map and set it, and the machine will not enter the designated area.
Tip: Before using this function, you must create the map for the first cleaning in the Laresmart APP.
This function is only for setting cleaning areas and cannot be used to block dangerous areas.
If you move the robot vacuum cleaner or if there are obvious changes in your environment, the map may become invalid, and the no-go zone may be lost.
6.6 Scheduled Cleaning
After the scheduled cleaning setting takes effect, the device will automatically start cleaning at the set time and return to the charging station upon completion.
6.7 DND Mode (Do Not Disturb)
The default DND period is 22:00-06:00, which can be changed or ended in your Laresmart APP.
During the DND period, the robot vacuum cleaner will disable automatic continuous cleaning, voice broadcast, and timing functions.
