Installation and Setup
Installation Steps
- Before installation, ensure all units to be connected are powered off. If installing multiple cameras on the same network, it is advisable to install and configure them one at a time.
- Connect the camera to the network. It is recommended to ensure the WiFi signal strength received by the camera is 60 or higher.
- Position the camera on a wall or other flat surface.
- For recording on a Micro SD card (not included), insert the memory card into the slot when the camera is powered off. Power on the camera and use the app to format the card before starting the recording function.
Wi-Fi Network Configuration
Upon first power-on, the camera operates in Access Point (AP) mode. To connect it to a WiFi network, download the URMET V-Stream app to your mobile phone and refer to the quick setup guide for configuration.
Important Note: By default, the camera automatically sets the date and time by retrieving this information from the internet each time it is powered on. If the camera restarts without internet access, the correct date and time may not be guaranteed, potentially compromising SD memory recordings.
Product Disposal (WEEE)
The crossed-out wheeled bin symbol ♻️ on the product or its packaging indicates that the product must not be disposed of with ordinary household waste at the end of its useful life.
Users must hand over waste equipment to designated municipal collection centers for the separate disposal of electrical and electronic waste. Alternatively, the device can be returned to the retailer when purchasing an equivalent new appliance.
Electronic products up to 25 cm in size can also be handed in for free disposal, without purchase obligation, at electronics stores with sales areas of over 400 m².
Proper separate collection for recycling, treatment, and environmentally compatible disposal of scrapped equipment helps prevent negative impacts on the environment and human health, and promotes the reuse and/or recycling of the materials the equipment is made of.
