Product Overview
The Urmet Signo Ref. 1740/20 is a 4" video intercom monitor designed to replace older Urmet models such as Explorer, Vedette, Sentinel, Vidofono, Scout (1204/20), and Sentry (1704/20 and 1704/20A) in traditional call systems.
It is compatible with systems that use a relay for electric lock activation. Replacement is not possible in systems where the electric lock is activated directly by the video door phone buttons. For such cases, customers should contact the Urmet technical service department.
Important Compatibility Note: The Signo Ref. 1740/20 can only be installed in systems equipped with a CCD camera.
Installation Instructions
Follow these steps for installation:
- Prepare the conduit so that it terminates at the designated infeed hole.
- Fasten the mounting bracket to the wall using the provided 4 screws at the indicated height from the floor.
- Connect the wires to the appropriate terminals.
- Pull the fastening hook (labeled 'a') downwards.
- Insert the video door phone into the bracket.
- Secure the video door phone by pushing the fastening hook (labeled 'a') upwards.
