Urmet WiFi Kit Quick Guide
H.265 WiFi NVR & 2 WiFi Cameras 3.6MM
Kit Contents
The URMET WiFi Kit includes all necessary devices, cables, and software for installation, configuration, and operation. No specialized skills are required.
Components:
- A: 2 Wi-Fi Cameras: Suitable for wall-mounting, featuring infrared illuminators for night vision, white light LED, and PIR sensors.
- B: 2 Camera Power Units: For connecting the cameras to the building's mains power.
- C: 1 NVR H.265 8-Channel (Ref. 1098/820): An 8-channel digital network video recorder with an internal hard disk for video recording.
- D: 1 Mouse: For programming and controlling the NVR's operation.
- E: 1 NVR Power Unit: For connecting the NVR to the building's mains power.
- F: 1 CD: Contains software and documentation.
IMPORTANT: Wi-Fi performance is influenced by various factors. Functional performance may be affected by INTERFERENCES from wireless routers, cellular base stations (4G or higher), radar, microwave ovens, and electrical substations. The distance between the NVR and IP cameras also affects wireless performance. For these reasons, it is recommended to limit the maximum number of channels to 6.
How to View Images
Images captured by the cameras or stored on the NVR's hard disk can be viewed by connecting an HDMI monitor or a latest-generation color TV with an HDMI input to the NVR.
Alternatively, connect the NVR to your home LAN. If the LAN is connected to the Internet, you can control the system remotely from a PC, smartphone, or tablet using specific applications.
Connection Options:
- Monitor Connected to NVR: Connect a monitor with an HDMI port (optional) or a digital color TV (optional) using an HDMI cable.
- Remote Connection via Router: Connect the NVR to your home router via LAN cable or Wi-Fi. The router connects to the internet (ADSL). This setup allows remote access and control from a PC or mobile device.
The iUVS plus app offers recording and playback functions directly on mobile and tablet devices.

Control and Configuration
Via Monitor or TV
If you connect a monitor or color TV with an HDMI input to the NVR, you can use the NVR menu to configure the system and view images, interacting with the system using the included mouse.
Via PC
Connect the NVR to your home LAN via a 10/100 Mbps Ethernet cable (not included) to the RJ45 port, or via Wi-Fi to your home router. This enables control from your PC or remotely, if the LAN is connected to the web.
After configuring the NVR and cameras on the network, you can connect to the NVR using a PC's internet browser. The PC must be connected to the same local network (LAN) as the NVR.
To connect to the NVR from a Windows PC on the same network, install the “Device Search” software from the product’s CD. After installation, run the software, which will detect the NVR on the LAN and list it. Click on the NVR's IP address in the list.
For more information, refer to the NVR’s user manual or quick guide.
You can also connect to one or more NVRs simultaneously using the URMET UVS PRO client software, available on the product’s CD.

Troubleshooting
What to do if...
- Password forgotten: If you have forgotten your password, contact customer care.
- Video recorder on but no image: Check the power supply and ensure all devices are functioning.
- Video recorder overheats: Position the NVR in a well-ventilated area away from heat sources to ensure stability and longevity.
- Recording function not working: Ensure the current screen is in 'Play' mode to exit playback and access the 'Record' function.
- Can record during playback: Yes, the system supports recording during playback.
- Can delete recorded files: For data integrity, it is not recommended to delete files directly from the device. Use the "format hard disk" function to delete all files permanently.
- Buzzer keeps sounding: Check if motion detection is active and if motion has been detected. Ensure the hard disk is working correctly and has sufficient free space. Check for video signal loss.
- Cannot use [Stop] function: To stop a programmed recording, set the time period to [No Record].
