JA-151F Wireless Water Detector
Model: 5FLOOD2302MR
Introduction
This document provides information for the JA-151F wireless water detector, designed for detecting water leaks in indoor environments. It is compatible with the JABLOTRON system and requires a JA-11xR radio module for operation. The product is designed for indoor use and has an IP65 protection rating.
Important Note: The product is NOT a float switch and is not intended for continuous immersion in liquids, constant wetting, or operation in areas with high humidity.
Installation
Mounting Options
The detector can be mounted in two ways:
- Horizontal Mounting: Freestanding, with all pins facing downwards.
- Vertical Mounting: Wall-mounted, with the detection contacts facing downwards.
Description of Parts:
- 1 - Detection contacts
- 2 - Magnetic sticker
Mounting Procedure
- To assign the product to a control panel, use the F-Link software. Navigate to the Devices section, select a position, and click "Send Signal" to assign the product. The control panel must be equipped with a JA-11xR radio module.
- Open the product cover and insert the AAA batteries into the battery holder (6), observing correct polarity.
- When the second battery is inserted, a signal will be sent to the control panel for registration. A weak battery will cause the LED indicator (3) to blink yellow at 2 Hz.
- For horizontal mounting: Close the cover, secure it with the locking screws, and ensure it is properly closed. Place the product flat on the floor in the intended location. In this orientation, the detector responds to very small amounts of liquid.
- For vertical mounting: Close the cover, secure it with the locking screws, and ensure it is properly closed. Position the product so it rests on one side of the floor. Attach the magnetic sticker (2) to the integrated metal plate on the back of the product (see Figure 1). In this orientation, the detector responds to a larger amount of liquid due to the higher level.
- The product is not equipped with a contact for detecting product removal; however, it has a contact for detecting cover opening. When the cover is opened, the detector sends a tamper alarm to the system. This is an optional function configurable via the MyCompany App or F-Link software.
- The product reports an alarm or flood when any pair of detection contacts (1) becomes connected.
Note: The product can also be assigned to a system by entering its serial number.
Recommendation: Install the product in a location where water leaks are most likely to occur or where the slope is greatest.
Indicator Lights
The product indicates its status via LED lights:
- Red: Indicates product activation or active tampering.
- Yellow: Indicates an error or that the product can be assigned to the system.

Battery Replacement
When a battery replacement is needed, the product will report a malfunction (low battery) to the system. Before replacing batteries, the system must be put into service/subscription mode. When replacing batteries and opening the product, be careful not to damage the rubber gasket around the cover's edge and the locking screw. After replacing the batteries, ensure the gasket is in place around the screw and use the locking screw to ensure the product is properly sealed. Both batteries must be replaced simultaneously, and only new batteries should be used.
End of Flood Detection
In case of flooding, open the product after the incident has been resolved, remove the batteries, and let it dry thoroughly before reusing it.
