Product Usage Guidelines:

• Playard: For use with children 0-2 years or 35 inches tall, whichever comes first.
• Bassinet: For use with children 0-5 months, up to 20 lbs.
• Activity Gym: For use with children 0-36 months.

Examine product frequently for damaged, missing, or loose parts. Care should be taken in unpacking and assembly. Adult assembly required.

WARNINGS:

SUFFOCATION HAZARD: Infants can suffocate in gaps between padding and sides, or between a mattress that is too small or too thick and product sides. Use ONLY the mattress provided by Kids2. NEVER add a pillow, comforter, or another mattress for padding. To reduce the risk of SIDS, place infants on their backs to sleep. NEVER use plastic shipping bags or other plastic film as mattress covers. Not intended for sleeping in playard mode. Always provide supervision. Never leave child unattended. Never leave child in product with side lowered; ensure side is raised and locked. Use product with one child at a time. Do not move product with child inside. Product shall not be used without the provided mattress. NEVER use a water mattress. Do not use a sheet designed for a full-sized crib; use one specifically designed for this mattress. Prevent strangulation or entanglement; never use bassinet sheet unless it fits securely. Do not use if instructions cannot be followed exactly. Do not modify playard or add unlisted attachments. Keep carrying bag away from child. For indoor use only. Never place a child under the bassinet. Child can become entrapped by improvised netting or covers placed on top of playard.

FALL HAZARD: When a child can pull to standing, remove bumper pads, large toys, and other objects that could serve as steps for climbing out. Discontinue use when child can climb out or reaches 35 inches (90 cm).

BASSINET MODE: Do not use if instructions cannot be followed exactly. Do not leave in place when infant is in playard. Stop using when infant begins to push up on hands and knees, pull up on product sides (approx. 5 months), or begin to roll over or reaches 20 lbs. ALWAYS secure product to playard using attachment clips. Check that bassinet is securely locked by pulling upwards.

STRANGULATION HAZARD: Strings can cause strangulation. Never place items with strings around a child's neck. Never suspend strings over product or attach strings to toys. Never place product near windows or patio doors where cords from blinds or drapes can strangle a child.

CHOKING HAZARD: Keep medication and small items away from playard. Check product for damaged hardware, loose joints, missing parts, or sharp edges before assembly and periodically. DO NOT use if parts are missing, damaged, or broken. Contact Kids2 for replacement parts.

TOYBAR: To Prevent Serious Injury or Death: NEVER leave child unattended. Use only under adult supervision. Do not add additional strings or straps. Babies should not sleep in activity gym. Do not use as a blanket. Use mat only on the floor. Not intended for carrying baby. Do not connect toy bar A-hooks to mat loops. Do not connect links across crib, play yard, or activity gym. Never connect links to form a chain more than 12" long. CAUTION: Toy bars are under tension. Grasp firmly and release slowly.

Assembly Instructions

Bassinet Mode

BEFORE YOU BEGIN: The playard comes with the bassinet attached. Setup starts in Bassinet Mode. Skip to Playard Mode if you do not wish to use the bassinet initially.

1. Open playard A by releasing the carry strap and lowering each side so it lays flat.
2. Lift side supports until they lock into place. Repeat on other side so playard is freestanding.
3. Place mattress pad B into bassinet, pressing firmly on all sides.
4. Connect both sides of toybar F by passing one side through the center tab on the other.
5. Attach toybar through the 4 bassinet clips with side slots. The piano and toy loops MUST face into the bassinet.
6. Attach Fun Link™ clip to toy loops on toybars as shown.

Playard Mode

1. Remove toybar from the bassinet by unfastening the hook and loop straps and sliding straps out of bassinet clips. CAUTION: Arches are under tension. Grasp firmly on both ends and use care while removing to avoid injury.
2. Lift mattress out of bassinet.
3. Pull up on the bassinet clips (x8) to release bassinet from playard top rail. NOTE: See Troubleshooting Section to reattach bassinet.
4. Open the 4 hook and loop straps on each corner of the mattress pad B.
5. Place Mattress into bottom of playard.
6. Insert hook and loop straps through the slots in the corners of the playard. Secure strap on the underside of the playard.

Play Gym / Parc d'activités / Gimnasio

1. Remove toybar and mattress from bassinet.
2. Flip mounting tabs out from underneath the play mat.
3. Insert toybar straps through slots on mounting tabs to secure toybar to mat.

EZ 3 Step Fold™

NOTE: Playard can be folded with the bassinet unit attached. CAUTION: You MUST remove the mattress and toy bar first.

1. Remove mattress from product.
2. Squeeze release knobs on side of the playard. Press in on bars to fold the side down. Repeat on both sides of the playard.
3. Lay mattress on top of flattened playard.
4. Lift up both sides of playard to fold.
5. Attach carry strap end to post on playard to secure the playard.

Storage / Rangement / Almacenamiento

Lay toybar on the floor and fold bars onto each other. Then wrap hook and loop straps on rear bars around front bar and secure to hook and loop pad on rear bar.

Playard, Bassinet and Toybar can be placed in the storage bag for both extended storage and transporting.

Battery Installation / Instalación de las pilas / Installation des Piles

The musical toy requires (3) size AA/LR6 (1.5v) alkaline batteries (not included).

CAUTION: Follow the battery guidelines. Otherwise, battery life may be shortened or batteries may leak or rupture.

• Always keep batteries away from children.
• Do not mix old and new batteries.
• Do not mix alkaline, standard, or rechargeable batteries.
• Use only batteries of the same or equivalent type.
• Install batteries with correct polarity.
• Do not short-circuit batteries.
• Do not store batteries in extreme temperatures.
• Remove exhausted batteries.
• Never attempt to recharge a battery unless marked “rechargeable.”
• Rechargeable batteries must be removed before charging.
• Rechargeable batteries only under adult supervision.
• Do not use rechargeable alkaline batteries in Ni-Cad or Ni-MH chargers.
• Use correct disposal method for batteries.
• Remove batteries before storing product for prolonged periods.
• Do not dispose of product or batteries in fire.

This symbol indicates the product should not be disposed of in household waste due to environmentally harmful substances in batteries. Contact local authorities for recycling information.

Troubleshooting / Dépannage / Solución de problemas

To re-attach bassinet to playard: Reverse steps 1 & 2 from playard mode section. Use CAUTION when attaching bassinet clips on long top rails. Locate clips closest together and press firmly to top rail on both sides of the folding joint.

Maintenance / Entretien / Mantenimiento

• Wipe playard and mattress surfaces clean with a damp cloth and mild soap. Air dry. DO NOT immerse in water.
• Wash sheet before first use. Machine wash cold with like colors. Use non-chlorine bleach if needed. Tumble dry low. Do not iron.
• Toy bar assembly and toys - Wipe clean with a damp cloth and mild soap. Air dry. Do not immerse in water.
