User Servicing Instructions (Fuse Replacement)

  1. If the fan fuse has blown, grasp the plug and remove it from the outlet. Do not pull the cord.
  2. Slide the fuse cover towards the prongs of the plug to open.
  3. Carefully remove the old fuse and snap the replacement fuse into place. Use only a 2.5Amp, 125Volt fuse. Slide the fuse door back to close. Discard the blown fuse.
  4. Risk of fire. Do not replace the attachment plug. Product contains a safety device (fuse) that should not be removed. Discard product if attachment plug is damaged.
  5. Contact IRIS USA, Inc. customer service at 1-800-320-4747 for further information.

Placement

Place the product on a level floor or table free of any obstructions.

Usage Scenarios

The fan can be strategically placed to optimize air circulation:

Parts

Front View

Components include: Vane, Front guard, Control panel, Main body, Base, Remote receiver.

Back View

Components include: Handle, Rear guard, Motor, Power plug, Power cord.

Control Panel

Features: Air flow strength indicator light, Timer indicator light, Breeze setting indicator light, Oscillation indicator light. Buttons: Timer button, Air flow strength button (< >), Oscillation button, Breeze setting button, Power button.

Remote Control

To use, point the infrared sensor at the remote receiver on the front of the main body.

Buttons: Power button (turns product on/off), Air flow strength buttons (< > to select desired airflow), Breeze setting button (turns natural breeze on/off), Timer button (chooses run time, press again to clear), Oscillation buttons (Horizontal for left/right oscillation on/off, Vertical for up/down oscillation on/off).

Changing Out The Battery

Replace with a CR2025 battery when response is slow or buttons stop responding.

  1. Pull out the battery holder: Hold the claw in to close the gap and pull the holder out.
  2. Insert a new battery: Insert a new CR2025 battery into the holder, ensuring correct direction (positive side up). Insert holder back into remote control. Pay attention to front/back side. Dispose of battery according to regulations.
Improper handling of battery can lead to rupture, leaking liquid, and damage. Read 'Remote use' safety precautions.

How to Use

Place the Product

Place upright on a stable surface and insert the power plug into the electrical outlet. The product will beep.

Start the Product

Press the power button. Product starts at last used setting if not unplugged. Can also be turned on via remote control.

Select the Preferred Air Flow Strength

Pressing the air flow strength button lights the indicator and changes airflow strength (Low → High → Turbo). Use arrow buttons to decrease (<) or increase (>) airflow.

Start Timer

Pressing timer button changes preset time (1h → 2h → 4h → Timer off). Can also be changed using remote timer buttons. To turn off with remote, press the selected time button again.

Stop the Product

Press the power button during operation to turn the product off. Product will beep before turning off.

Select Natural Breeze Pattern

Replicates breeze patterns by changing airflow strength.

Select Oscillation

Oscillation cannot be done manually; forcing angle change will damage product. Use oscillation button to change angle.

Full Oscillation Mode Operation: Product oscillates left/right and up/down simultaneously for maximum air coverage. Horizontal oscillation runs continually. Vertical oscillation stops every 20 seconds before beginning up/down oscillation again.

Cleaning and Maintenance

Always turn off power and unplug before cleaning. Motor will be hot immediately after use; confirm it has cooled. Do not use paint thinner, alcohol, benzene, alkaline detergent, or bleach (may cause damage, malfunctions, color/shape/quality changes).

Dusty conditions can cause malfunction. Check and clean regularly.

Internal Cleaning

  1. Unscrew screws from back cover. Press in and disengage 4 claws on top/bottom of front guard, then remove front guard by pulling.
  2. Remove debris using a vacuum cleaner. Wipe off remaining debris with a soft cloth.
  3. Align claws of front guard with guides on back guard, align handle with groove on front guard, and press until it snaps into place.

Do not disassemble, repair or modify product yourself. Any other servicing should be performed by an authorized service representative.

Product Used Over Long Periods of Time

If any of the following problems occur due to long-term use, cut power immediately, unplug, and contact IRIS USA, Inc. customer service at 1-800-320-4747.

Various factors can impact product degradation/malfunction. If abnormalities occur even when product has not been used for standard period, stop use immediately and contact IRIS USA, Inc. customer service at 1-800-320-4747.

IRIS USA, Inc. warrants its products to be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal non-commercial, household use, when operated and cared for in accordance with the Manufacturer's written instructions.

The 1-Year Warranty Does Not Cover

Damage caused by accident, misuse, abuse (including use in humid areas, improper cleaning, neglect, alteration, fire, theft, non-recommended temperature use). Does not apply to minor imperfections, scratches, stains, discoloration, surface markings from shipping or other damage to external/internal surfaces that do not impair utility/functionality.

You may return properly packaged product(s) with postage prepaid, including name, address, phone number, model number, proof of purchase (receipt copy), and detailed defect description. Warranty does not cover transit damage. Customer is responsible for services and parts not covered by warranty.

Manufacturer's Obligation

Warranty cannot be altered, expanded, extended, revised or varied except by written instrument executed by Manufacturer.

Manufacturer's liability under this warranty is limited to repair or replacement of defective product(s) at Manufacturer's sole and exclusive option. Manufacturer will replace any defective item with the most comparable current item. IRIS USA, Inc. does not accept special requests or upgrades for money. Manufacturer is not liable for any special, incidental or consequential damages, whether direct or indirect. Warranties are exclusive and no other warranties, express or implied, including merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, are made.

Some states do not allow exclusion/limitation of incidental/consequential damages, so these may not apply. This Warranty gives specific legal rights, and other rights may vary by state.

Discontinued Item Returned

If a returned item is discontinued/unavailable, IRIS USA, Inc. will automatically replace it with the most comparable item currently manufactured.
