  • If the fuse on your fan has blown, grasp the plug and remove it from the outlet. Do not pull the cord to unplug.
  • To open, slide the fuse cover towards the prongs of the plug.
  • Carefully remove the old fuse and snap the replacement fuse into place. To reduce the risk of fire, only replace the fuse with another fuse of the proper rating (2.5Amp, 120Volt). Slide the fuse door back into place to close. Discard the blown fuse. The plug should now be ready for normal use.
  • To reduce the risk of fire, do not replace the attachment plug if it is damaged. Only the fuse should be replaced. Discard the product if the attached plug is damaged.

Disassembly Prohibited

  • Do not disassemble, repair, or modify. Doing so can cause fire, electric shock, or injury.
  • Repair by persons other than trained repair technicians can be dangerous.
  • Warning: To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, do not use this product with any solid-state speed control device.

Product Use

  • Use on a level, stable floor. Placing product on uneven and unstable floors can cause the product to fall over, leading to injury or damage to property in the vicinity of the product.
  • Place the product in locations where it will not get entangled in curtains or hoisting strings, etc. Failing to do so can cause damage to articles near the product.
  • Always grasp the power plug to unplug it, do not unplug it by pulling on the power cord. Pulling on the power cord can damage it, which can cause fire or electric shock.
  • Always unplug the power plug from the electric socket when the product will be unused for extended periods of time. Failing to do so can lead to fire or electric shock caused by short-circuits due to reduced insulation.
  • This product employs overload protection (fuse). A blown fuse indicates an overload or a short-circuit. If the fuse blows, unplug the product from the outlet. Replace the fuse as per the user servicing instructions (follow product marking for proper fuse rating) and check the product. If the replacement fuse blows, a short-circuit occurred and the product should be discarded or returned to IRIS USA, Inc. for inspection and/or repair.

Unplug

  • Unplug the power plug from the electric socket when performing maintenance, inspecting, or moving the product.
  • This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). To reduce the risk of electric shock, this plug is intended to fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not attempt to defeat this safety feature.
  • Grasp the plug and remove from the receptacle or other outlet device. Do not unplug by pulling on the cord.

Use Power Plugs and Power Cords Correctly

  • Failing to do so can cause fire or electric shock due to short-circuits.
  • Insert the power plug securely all the way into the electric socket.
  • Regularly remove dust from the power plug. When dust is allowed to build up, insulation is hampered due to moisture, which can cause fire or electric shock.
  • Use only 120V AC. Other current/voltage can cause fires.
  • Do not use if the power cord or the power plug is damaged, or if the power plug is loose when plugged into the electric socket. Doing so can cause fire or electric shock due to short-circuit.

Do Not Damage the Power Cord

  • Damaging, modifying, forcefully bending, pulling, twisting, putting heavy objects, or pinching can damage the power cord, which can cause fire or electric shock.
  • Do not use if the power cord is bundled up. Doing so can cause fires. Always extend the cord out before using.
  • Do not pull on the power cord when carrying or storing the product. Pulling on the power cord can cause fire or electric shock.

Place the product on a level floor or table free of any obstructions.

  • Place the product in locations where it will not come in contact with direct sunlight, or hot air from air conditioning or heating appliances. Such contact can cause the product to deform, change color, or malfunction.
  • Do not place the product near the radio or TV. The product may cause noise on radio and affect the TV signal.

How to Use:

Connecting the power plug: A diagram shows a hand inserting a power plug into an electrical socket. Insert the power plug securely all the way into the electric socket.

Operation: A diagram shows a hand pressing one of three buttons labeled I, II, III. Press the appropriate button to select the desired air flow strength.

Stop: A diagram shows a hand pressing a button labeled OFF. Press the OFF button to stop operation.

Horizontal (oscillation): A diagram shows a hand pressing a button labeled OSCILLATE, and the fan rotating left and right. The Oscillate button switches left and right oscillation on and off.

Caution: Left and right angles cannot be changed manually. Change angles by switching [oscillation] > [stop] using the oscillate button.

Vertical (manual): A diagram shows the fan head being tilted upwards. Vertical angle can be adjusted manually across six steps from horizontal to approximately 75 degrees.

Usage Scenarios:

Use with Air Conditioner: A diagram shows the fan placed in front of an air conditioner. Placing the product in front of air conditioner to circulate cold air accumulated below creates air flow and provides better cooling.

Use with a Heater: A diagram shows the fan placed in a corner with a heater. Sending air flow to corner of the room where the A/C source is, to circulate warm air accumulated above, warms feet.

Circulation: A diagram shows the fan pointing towards the ceiling. Sending air flow toward the ceiling reduces room air temperature variations.

Ventilation: A diagram shows the fan placed near a window or door. Placing the product by a window or a door draws outside air in and sends in-room air out.

Two-room Circulation: A diagram shows the fan placed in an open doorway between two rooms. Placing the product in an open doorway circulates air between two-rooms.

Drying Laundry: A diagram shows the fan blowing air towards hanging laundry. Hanging laundry directly in the path of air flow helps it dry quicker.

How to Clean:

Using the product in dusty condition can cause it to malfunction. Check and clean the product regularly.

Internal Cleaning:

A diagram shows the front guard being removed by disengaging four claws (two on top, two on bottom). The internal components like the vane and motor are visible.

  1. Press in and disengage the 4 claws on the top and bottom of the front guard, and then remove the front guard by pulling it toward you.
  2. Remove debris using a vacuum cleaner. Wipe off debris that cannot be removed by vacuuming using a soft cloth.
  3. Align claws on the top and bottom of the front guard with the guides on the back of the guard, and press until it snaps into place.

External Cleaning:

A diagram shows a hand wiping the fan's exterior with a cloth. Wipe lightly using a soft cloth. For hard to remove dirt, wipe using a cloth containing a diluted neutral detergent.

Caution: Always turn off the power and unplug the power plug from the electric socket when cleaning the product. Use caution, the motor will be hot immediately after use. Confirm the motor has cooled before cleaning the product. Do not use paint thinner, alcohol, benzene, alkaline detergent, or bleach, etc. when cleaning the product. Using such substances can cause damage, malfunctions, or changes in color, shape, and quality.

Product Parts:

A diagram shows the front and rear views of the fan with parts labeled: Handle, Front guard, Vane, Control panel, Base, Main body, Rear guard, Motor, Power cord & Power plug.
