Product Manual
The MS450-NTE is a high-performance otoscope featuring a 4.5-inch high-definition color screen. It is ergonomically designed for one-handed operation. The device supports snapshot and recording functions, saving photos and videos to a TF memory card (Micro-SD card).
Warning: This product is not intended for use in professional health care environments unless specifically designated.
Safety and Maintenance
- Make sure you disinfect the adapter.
- Clean the surface of the device with 75% medical alcohol before contacting with the skin.
- Disinfect the adapters with saturated steam for 10 minutes at 134°C or 273 °F.
- This appliance is not suitable for people with limited physical, sensory, or mental capabilities.
- Keep bystanders and children away while operating the tool.
Battery Description
- Please use a 5V household charger that meets safety regulations to charge this device.
- This device does not support PD chargers.
- This device can work while charging.
- If the device is not used for a long time, ensure it is charged at least once every 3 months to prevent irreparable damage caused by excessive battery discharge.
Functions
Device Front Panel Controls
The front panel features the following controls:
- 1. Camera probe connector
- 2. Snap button: For taking photos or starting/ending video recording.
- 3. Light control button: Adjusts the LED brightness of the camera.
- 4. Up and down selection button / rotate 180°
- 5. Mode switch button: Switches between three modes: Photo taking, video recording, and playback.
- 6. Enter button: Confirms selection or freezes the screen.
- 7. Settings button: Enters or exits the settings menu.
- 8. Power button: Press and hold to turn the device ON/OFF.

Instructions
Powering On/Off: Long press the power button (8) to turn the device on or off.
TF Card Handling: The device is equipped with a TF memory card. To eject the card, gently press it.
Notices
- The ear canal may not be perfectly straight; gently adjust the position of the otoscope to view your ear drum clearly.
- Please adjust the brightness of the LED lights when using this otoscope to prevent glare.
- The focal length of the camera is fixed at 2-3cm (approximately 1 inch). Adjust the distance between the camera lens and your ear to get focused if the image is not clear.
- Note: Connect the camera probe before turning on the device. Restart the device after replacing the camera probe.
TF Card Operation
Inserting TF Card
- Power off the device first before inserting the TF card.
- Ensure the direction and the front/back sides are correct when inserting the TF card.
- Do not use excessive force when inserting or removing the TF card to prevent damage to the card slot structure.
The device screen displays TF card status (inserted/no card) and allows date/time modification in the Settings menu.
Language Settings
The default language is English. The system supports English, Chinese, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Russian, and Japanese.
Setting Path:
- Press the [settings] button (7) twice to enter the setting page.
- Select the second item (Language) on the settings page.
- Use the [up/down arrows] (4) to select your desired language.
- Press [OK] (6) to save your choice.
Photo Taking/Video Recording/Playback
Taking Photos or Recording Videos:
Press the [Mode] button (5) to switch to photo taking or video recording mode. Press the [Snap] button (2) to take a photo or start recording. Press [Snap] again to end recording.
Playback and Deletion:
Press the [Mode] button (5) to switch to playback mode. Use the [Up/Down arrows] (4) to select a photo or video to view. Press the [Settings] button (7) to delete the selected photo or video.
Copy Photo and Video Files to Computer
You can copy data directly using a TF card reader or by connecting the device to a computer with a Type-C cable.
Important: Please pull out the probe camera first before using the Type-C cable for data transfer.
