Description
This portable otoscope camera features a macro lens with high resolution, providing excellent image quality. It is designed to help users easily diagnose outer and middle ear pathologies using their iPhone, iPad, and Android devices.
How to Use
The device can connect to various devices via different connectors:
- Lightning for iPhone & iPad
- Type-C for Smartphone
- Micro-USB for Smartphone
Assembly instructions:
Speculum: Attach a speculum to the head of the camera. This prevents the probe from hurting the ear canal during examination.

General Usage Steps:
- Select a speculum and attach it to the camera head.
- Clean the device surface with a 75% alcohol solution before contact with skin. Disinfect adapters with saturated steam for 10 minutes at 273°F (134°C).
- LED Brightness: Press to adjust the LED brightness.
- Power On/Off: Press and hold for a few seconds to power the device on or off.
- Battery Level: Quick press to check the battery level.
Software Function
Please download and install the companion app before using the device.
- For iOS devices: Search for "USEE" on the App Store.
- For Android devices: Search for "USEE" on the Google Play Store.
The app "USEE" allows access to photos and video recordings.
A QR code is provided for easy app download for iOS and Android.
Connecting to iPhone
- Press and hold the power button for 1 second to power on the device. Connect it to your iPhone using the provided cable. The device may charge your iPhone with a low current (approx. 300mA) for data transferring.
- A "Trust This Computer?" pop-up dialog will appear on your iPhone. Click "Trust" to allow access to the camera.
- Enter your iPhone passcode to activate the device.
- If a message "This accessory may not be supported." appears, click "Dismiss".
- Click "OK" to allow the app to access your photo library.
Connecting to Android Smartphone
The device will charge your smartphone with a low current (approx. 300mA) for data transferring use.
Press the power button for 1 second to power on the device and connect it to your smartphone.
The app interface includes options for Setting, Resolution, Rotate Screen, Video Recording, and Album.
Charge the Battery
Only use chargers marked: Output 5V 1A, or 5V 2A.
If the charger's voltage and current are unknown, use the USB cable to charge the camera with your computer. Charging to 100% takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours under 5V 1A.
Ensure the charging current is higher than 1A when using the device while charging.
Notices
- While a USB cable is included, using your phone's original USB cable is recommended for a stronger and more stable connection.
- If the image is frozen, reboot the device and restart the App.
- If the scope cannot be turned on or turns off shortly after use, the battery may be low. Ensure the battery is fully charged.
How to do when the image is blurry
To maintain clear image quality and optimal results, follow these methods:
- Clean the camera tip with the provided cleaning cloth before and after each use to prevent ear wax buildup, which can cause blurry images.
- Maintain a focal length of about 1 inch for the best image quality. Placing the scope too far from the focal point may result in blurry images.
- The ear canal is not perfectly straight. Gently adjust the otoscope's position to clearly view the eardrum.
