Description
This USB otoscope camera is a portable, handheld video camera with a short focal length. It has a high resolution camera which provides great video quality. The camera is compatible with Windows and Mac computers, and with Android phones and tablets. It is not compatible with iPhone and iPad devices.
On the tip of the camera there are 6 adjustable LED lights, which light up the ear canal and increase the visual field of view. The camera can be used to view the tympanic membrane (the eardrum) and external ear canal to diagnose outer and middle ear pathologies.
⚠️ Note: Keep this device out of reach of unsupervised children.
How to Use
Connection types include USB for PC, Type-C for Smartphone, and Micro USB for Smartphone. The device also features adjusting LED lights (LED- and LED+).
❌ Not support iPhone/iPad.
Follow these steps:
- Plug the camera into your device.
- Open the appropriate software on your device.
- Clean an ear cover and attach it to the tip of the camera.
Accessories
Please attach an adapter to the end of the otoscope before you use it. The otoscope should only be used when an adapter is in place.
✅ Also be sure to clean the surface of the adapter with one of the included alcohol swabs before using it. You can also disinfect the adapters with steam at 134℃.
Software Functions
Android
Please install a suitable APP for your devices.
- Download the USB Camera app from the Google Play Store.
- Plug the camera into your phone. Depending on the type of phone, you may need to use the included USB-C adapter.
- Open the USB Camera app and grant it permission to use your device's camera.
- Tap the menu in the bottom right and select "Record" to take a video or "Snapshot" to take a photo.
You can also scan a QR Code to get the app for Android.
Windows 10
- Plug the camera into one of your computer's USB ports, using a USB-C or USB-A adapter if needed.
- Search your computer for "Camera" and open it.
- Switch the Camera app to use your otoscope camera. Look for the change camera button at the top-left or top-right of the screen. If it doesn't appear, try right-clicking in the app and looking for "Change Camera".
Note: If the change-camera icon doesn't appear, your privacy settings or anti-virus may be blocking access. Refer to troubleshooting resources if you encounter this issue.
Windows XP/7/8/10
Download and install "Endoscope Camera" from http://gto.so/ec.zip.
Please make sure to select the right device name in the menu. Plug the USB otoscope to your computer.
✅ Please select "Trust this application" if you see warnings from your Antivirus software; your software is guaranteed safe.
The software interface includes:
- Preview Area: Displays the camera feed.
- Snap Button: Takes a photo.
- Video record Button: Starts/stops video recording.
- Captured Fileslist: Shows saved photos and videos.
- Switch Photos or Videos list: Navigates between captured media.
- Settings: Accesses application settings.
Mac
- Plug the camera into one of your computer's USB ports, using a USB-C or USB-A adapter if needed.
- Search your computer for "Photo Booth" and open it.
- In Photo Booth, click "Camera" in the menu at the top of the screen.
- Select "Teslong camera".
Note: You can also use the camera on your Mac with QuickTime Player. Open QuickTime Player, select "File", then "New Movie Recording". Click the down arrow icon next to the record button to switch between your computer's camera and the otoscope.

Notices
- The camera is compatible with Windows XP, 7, 8, and 10.
- The camera is compatible with Mac OS.
- The camera is compatible with Android operating systems 4.4 and up, on devices that support the OTG and UVC functions.
- When not using the device, please store it in a dry environment away from damp or wet areas.
- For PC users, please DO NOT open the App multiple times.
- If no light shows up on the camera tip after connection, please adjust the brightness control knob.
- The focal length is fixed at 2-3cm (1 inch), so please adjust the distance between the camera lens and your ear to get focused if you cannot see the image clearly.
- The ear canal is not perfectly straight; please gently pull the top of your ear up and back to help viewing your eardrum easily.
- Please adjust the brightness of the LED lights to prevent glare.
- Please keep the camera clean to avoid blurry images. Blurred images after a period of use are often caused by earwax on the camera lens.
Cleaning Instructions
- Clean the lens carefully with alcohol pads.
- Wipe the lens grooves with an alcohol-soaked cotton swab.
